Takes a little time for serving but the food is so worth it and the price is pretty much decent and affordable. Ordered the individual deep dish cheese pizza with bacon and chicken toppings and it was great! Also the sandwiches and pasta are worth a try. Has a nice drink options and also nice views.

First off, the service here is bad. It took forever for them to make an omelette. The waitress kept coming back to the table to make sure she had the order correct. It was very quiet and the two waitresses were running around clueless. It may be hard to believe, but it actually seemed like the waitresses were helping cook in the kitchen. They would disappear into the back and come out frantic serving food. The icing on the cake was when our waitress messed up our bill and acted as if she was doing us a favor by not charging us the coffee, but it is included in the breakfast.
The food here is incredibly bland and on the verge of tasting just plain bad. How do you get an omelette wrong? We are talking eggs here. Avoid this place at all costs.response / report this review -

This is a "gem" of a spot hidden beside trump tower in Chicago. Great staff and met the owner. It's a family business so cool it's not a chain. Best pizza I ever had!!

Our friends met here tonight for dinner and it exceeded our expectations! The food was amazing, especially the pesto bruschetta. The service was wonderful and I will definitely be going back. It's hard to find the perfect combination of impeccable service and quality authentic cuisine.

We were looking forward to a great meal due to overall great reviews, however, had quite a poor experience. The restaurant was not very busy, but it took us a while to be served by our waiter, and he was fairly rude throughout our service. We ordered the mushroom rigatoni and it was so acidic it tasted like stomach acid or vomit- no exaggeration. Also, we ordered the lasagna of the day, which we were told was 4 meat, and there was absolutely no meat and just mushrooms. We attempted to tell our server, but he didn't give us the time of day. We ended up each taking a few bites of our food, paying, and leaving. Maybe they were just having an off day, but we will certainly not be returning. Pros: great location downtown.

Cute little restaurant that has some very tasty food but even better service. Francisco, the manager went above and beyond to make sure our first time there was memorable. Also, the owner, bartender and even one of the cooks stopped by our table on the patio and checked in on us! We felt at home and will definitely be back. Great view and reasonable prices!!!

Waited over an hour for one medium pizza, which was expected, but were not approached by the server more than once between ordering and getting the order. One friend did not receive the cocktail he ordered at all, the other friend asked for coke and was given a jack and coke. It took 20 minutes to receive water, after which we were ignored, and it was not busy. Our pizza was delicious, but missing an ingredient. It came down to one bad server who did not take our order well at all, and didn't bother to give us her time to see if we wanted more drinks, or correct drinks. It would have been nice to have better music. Like anything but the same mainstream pop songs.

I have never been to a restaurant with such bad service. There was no line and the pizza took more than 40 minutes. I am writing this review as I am waiting. The waiter here is quite rude too and the manager or what he seems to be is just standing over their looking like he dosent care. Go to Lou's!

Wonderful service. The food is consistently good. Flavors are great and very decent portions​. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer; the batter is light and delicious. The pasta is at the perfect doneness. I love their pizza and the ingredients are fresh and perfect proportion. Nice draft beer selection.

Breakfast here was great. Definitely under staffed but the waitress was great at communicating with us and kept our coffee full. Had the waffle and it was perfectly fluffy and the strawberry were fresh. Great experience overall.

Last time we were in Chicago we noticed this pizza and Italian restaurant located next to the Wyndham hotel. Walked by it several times and then one night we were tired of walking and we decided to stop in because it was close by. BEST FIND we have found in Chicago. We went that night and ordered the stuffed crust pizza and a salad. Absolutely outstanding. Just great service and a special visit by what we thought was the manager was actually the owner. She sat down and talked to us and even brought us a free appetizer sample. We were so impressed with the personalized service the we went back one other night. That night we were greeted by name and had the same experience. Then to top off are trip we ordered a frozen stuffed pizza to take back to Michigan on our train ride home to share with our son and his family. DON'T miss this place, you will not be disappointed.
