Elegant, comfortable, with such a graciousness. A lovely place to relax. The library is fully stocked providing a respite. Food & beverages are very good. The staff friendly & helpful.
We got a nice room at a good price at this beautiful club, but I wouldn't go back because of the white elitist vibe. While I did not have any issues with their dress code, I saw others who did (e.g. another attendee of the same work event for which this was the official hotel was thrown out of the breakfast room for not being dressed up enough) and I did not like the way they keep pushing it in your face. It made me feel uncomfortable and underdressed the entire time I was there, even though I was dressed in nice business casual attire the entire time.
Nothing to not love about this place. Great food. Staff is very courteous. The ambient is special. Parking next door, not expensive.
Full of rich culture. Amazing art collection (2nd best in the City I'm told). Dress code is jacket and tie.
Stunningly beautiful in an old world way. If you get the chance to visit, don't pass up the opportunity. We sampled lamb, salmon, and beef from their menu. Although we didn't stay at the hotel, we intend to in the near future.
Just finished a great dinner had a great time with one of my friends from 2 years ago
Great food in a wonderful setting. Lots of artwork throughout the building with some very nice pieces.
Absolutely beautiful. Excellent food. Caters to all of your needs. Meeting rooms available for big or small group's.
First Class venue. Very attentive staff without being overbearing. Food was wonderful quality too! The event was a true success!
Fantastic private club that offers many activities for members, great meeting and event spaces, food is always top-notch.
I'm biased. I celebrated my parents 45th anniversary and passing the Illinois Bar Exam here. Its a members only place and I am not a member. It was good food and the cookies were excellent.
Historic city club in a cool 1920's era building and a great community of members who give back to the greater Chicago community. Athletics department offers massage, manicure/pedicure, haircuts, personal training, pilates, yoga, spin classes, handball and squash all at low prices compared to other places in town. An amazing bar and restaurants with a super attentive staff for after you workout plus art events, family events, public policy events including top authors such as Misty Copeland, Condoleeza Rice, Chris Hayes and more. The art collection is world class including a Monet and a large collection of pieces from top Chicago artists from the last 100 years. The Union league has become our second home.
Great venue in the City for a business meeting or private event. The staff is very attentive to the details and very helpful for both members and guests.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and food menu items are always changing for daily specials.
Beautiful space for luscious events, and an American art collection that earns listing amongst the best of the state's. I was at the Union League Club for 2 days of trade events and staff were ever courteous and helpful, though the event space was chilly. Whoever the caterer was, its food was delicious. Note that bluejeans are NOT allowed in the building.
