I haven't been in a couple of years. The ' Bad element' seems to be gone. Security is greatly increased. Overall, Mall is cleaner & neater, with wall to wall carpeting. But there's less restaurants in the Food Court. & most of the stores inside the mall seem to be speciality clothing stores. Dept. Stores like J.C. Penny & Carson still around. But most practical stores outside the mall.

I know this mall has gotten a bad reputation for the type of "crowd" that it has, but it seems they are really turning things around. After going to that mall all of my life, I have never witnessed an incident. As far as shopping, I feel that the options are much more diverse than malls such a Chicago ridge. For one thing, Ford City actually has a Sephora and Avon to buy makeup! It is continuously remodeling to add new stores.

A lot of my favorite stores from my childhood are gone but the mall still bolsters a lot of life and is close to one of my favorite movie theaters. The food court is still great as well.

Like the new decor. New stores come in handy for variety. Good for shopping a bit of everything. Although dinning area needs more upgrades on their eatery.

I come here with my mom sometimes. There don't be many people in the mall. I enjoy coming to this mall. This mall is clean and quiet and the prices are reasonable

I haven't been here in years. I went to Ford City mall to pick up shoes that were set aside for me from another Mall a few miles away. I walked in and it felt so weird. It seemed DEAD. I shop at Orland Park, Chicago Ridge and rare the time, I step into North Riverside. Those malls seems to be busy and have quite a bit of customers walking through the doors, but Ford City looked like a ghost town to me. I looked around a a few stores were closed and vacant. The stores that were there were off brand and cheap looking places with bedazzled shirts and bedazzled jeans and ridiculous clothing styles. I walked into a shoe store called "Call it Spring" in the middle of the mall and I just couldn't wait to pick up the shoes they had on hold and run out of there. There were security offices everywhere and someone lost their bad little kid who was kicking and hitting the poor security guy. This place is theeee definition of G.H.E.T.T.O.!

There are barely any store in this mall period. Upon leaving the mall I allowed my sixteen year old (a permit driver) to circle around a empty section of the parking lot. We were then approach by a white security officer that told us that we had to hurry up and leave the mall area. I havent been taking my business to this mall but its definitely the last time they will ever see me.

Went to the new Chipotle on the outside. Very fresh. Asked for lime to go with my chips. They have me a slice in a 2 oz cup. ReallyI wish I had more than that one slice.

I shop here because it's close by and convenient. Usually I'd rather drive further for a better shopping experience.

Absolutely NOTHING in this mall. Very ran down and hardly no selection at all. Very little stores. J.C. Penny's and Macy's are okay but still nothing to really buy there either. I feel this mall should just close down because a lot of stores are shut down anyways. Poor food court and very raunchy.
