The check in process was quick and easy. The room was clean and everything in the room was in good condition and functional. The bed was extremely comfortable, one of the best hotel beds that I've slept in in a long time. The breakfast looked good but too carb heavy for me to partake. Overall a very good stay for an inexpensive hotel. It appears the owner is in the process of making improvements; all rooms may not be as good as the one I was in or they may all be upgraded. I can only speak to the universe of my room.

Guy at front desk was nice and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed, decent room service selection. They are in the process of renovating so the property is a mess but the actual rooms are decent for the price. Lots of cable channels to choose from.

When first checking into the hotel, we encountered problems (loud people & maintenance problems). After some negotiating, management stepped up & we were given an upgrade to a nicer room. We definitely will be coming back. If anyone had had problems with the hotel, try giving them another chance. Recently changed management. A change for the better.

One of the best stays we have had at a hotel. The general manager and his staff truly know the definition of guest services..and I say "guest" rather than"customer" because we were treated as guestsnot customers. Beds are very comfy, the rooms were clean and smelled good. I felt safe inside the locked gates. The pool is beautiful. Thank you to this location for a great stay! We will definitely see you when we are back in town.

I'm currently on day 3 of 7 of my stay at Baymont Inn. I guess I'll start with good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included although there are no eggs or meats. It's a convenient location if you're going to Universal since it's only about a 10 minute drive. Very cost effecient compared to some other hotels nearby. Now, the not-so-good. There's a train track next to us (literally about 70 feet from our room) and a trains have come by at 12:30 am, and 5 am. There are ants in the sink when we wake up in the morning. Computers are extremely slow if you're trying to print something. Ups and downs, but it's only been a couple days.

On arrival the staff was friendly and helpful. Did not have any trouble in the room besides have to turn the door knob in the opposite direction to open it. The bathroom was clean and well designed as well as the room. If you enjoy having your bed made after the cleaning staff stop by your room remember to remove your personal belongings from the bed as they are not able to touch guest's items. The WiFi is a bit slow if you're trying to stream on your devices but it's not unbearable. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is very nice. It's just been renovated. Everything looks new. The pool is so nice. Every one of us like to swim there.

The local hookers smell. Would be better if they would try to keep the homeless away instead of letting them wash off in the pool. Friendly staff though.

Hotel guest attendant was not friendly or helpful. She told us to go left around blg to park, however they had all parking for Dinner bldg blocked to resurface parking lot. Had to park in front and walk through front and go through C bldg to get to D. Noticed the security doors didn't work. Was given room 269. Smelled like smoke and must. No hot water avail in shower. Didn't bother to tell front desk as obvious person on duty didn't care. Had to catch flight early, so luckily didn't spend much time there. Many of other choices to stay someplace else next time in town.

First off, there were 3 rooms under my mom's name. She checked all of the rooms in when she got to the hotel while the rest of us were at Universal Studios/Island of Adventure and all we needed to do was give them our names/ID upon arrival. There was a shift change during that time and the previous counter person didn't leave a note about the check ins. That didn't end up being an issue but the previous counter person didn't check in one of the rooms, so it could've easily been rented out by the time we got there. Not good, especially since my mom had already paid for all 3 rooms.
The rooms were pretty dinghy. Mine had a love seat in it that was torn up. We never did have hot water. It did get to lukewarm so that was better than cold. The hallways smelt like cigarette smoke. Bad enough that it permeated into my son and his wife's room, so they changed rooms. During the continental breakfast the area was dirty and we ran out of forks and spoons even though there was an attendant present. Would recommend this hotel to anyone unfortunately. The whole reason we picked that hotel was because of previous reviews that their beds were really comfortable. That was untrue. At least mine was hard as a rock and my back hurt after a couple days there.
