Barnsley Resort was a enjoyable experience from the beginning to end. The friendly staff was more than accommodating and helpful for any request. The rooms were compact but comfortable with a fireplace that the staff could light up upon request. The bathroom itself was huge and luxurious. The resort had many delightful activities. I personally took part in skeet shooting with a guide to personally show us how to shoot effectively. I would definitely recommend it if you have the chance. Their gym had enough to do a full workout, and the resort itself is beautiful to walk around in and enjoy. At night, you could request for a fire to be lit and there were s’mores provided at the reception to give the night a little flare. All in all, Barnsley resort was a very enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone.

We are regular gas at Barnsley Gardens. But this was our first overnight stay. The visit was very great and I would highly recommend Barnsley Gardens. We stayed in a cabin with a large living room a bedroom and a large bathroom. It felt very luxurious and very rustic at the same time. There's a ton to do in a ton of amenities in our three year old daughter even loved it. My only complaint would be is that the food is overpriced for the quality that you receive. We have been before in the food has been much better I'm not real sure what was wrong but the food was not very good this time

Incredible and peaceful resort. We stayed in the private log cabin and weren't with the other houses. It was so quiet and beautiful. The staff was incredible and made our experience so wonderful!

This resort is not very accommodating to short stays during the holidays. I attempted to book two nights to celebrate an anniversary with my wife. The reservation specialist stated that there was a three night minimum, but did not offer any other options. I then inquired through the website, and they called me back to say that they would wave the two night minimum, but I could not check-in on the date I requested even though the website said there were available rooms. I was eventually able to secure a room at the resort. The reservation specialist that booked the room was very friendly and helpful.

Loved this very Pet friendly restaurant. The waitress even cut up Mr. Cooper's hamburger and brought him a cold water when we arrived.

This place was awesome. A little overpriced, but you pay for what you get. The property is beautiful and filled with history. The food was excellent, and the relaxation with nature was priceless.

I stayed here two nights for a work event and was really impressed with the facilities. The food was great. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff was very pleasant.

Only an hour(+) drive from Atlanta and a great getaway place. Cottage rooms give element of privacy and it feels like a home away. Golf course is good for mid handicap player and the spa is relaxing. The food is top notch (albeit pricey) but then again, it is a resort and you expect resort prices.

Barnsley is a beautiful place. Staff is wonderful and seems to be well maintained. Had a very nice pool and spa, golf course was nice as well. I would suggest anyone to stay to have any special event there. Very nice place

We chose Barnsley because I had stayed before during a family event and it was spectacular. When we visited we fell in love and nothing else would do. To be honest, the price was more than our budget and it does build as you go. A few issues arouse (the upfront deposits for the guests caused initial issues and sometimes they don't answer emails/calls right away when planning is crucial, etc) and we started having a few regrets about the price. That was until the week of the wedding. They did everything to make our time the best possible. They heard we were worried about it being a little cold and offered complimentary heater packages for all events ($3000 value). They are as helpful and professional as can be. Every single dish was 5 Star and the servers were funny, professional and absolutely ON POINT. Cannot recommend this resort more highly for a wedding!

For the price of everything they charge it lacks the amenities and facilities of a high price resort.
The equipment was old, warn, and sub par. Went to put a boat in the water and had a hole and only a couple other boats questionable. Bicycles where warn and dated with broken parts on them. If your going to charge guests a resort fee they should have the resort amenities worth being charged for.
The room and cottages and grounds look nice but the cottage smelled like mildew and old. The shower had mildew in it and would not drain properly. The towels smelled horrible and where hard like cardboard.
Of course they talked about construction ending on the web sight yet it was loud and annoying the entire stay. Hard to sit on the porch and relax with that going on.
I love staying at resorts like this but this does not compare with others. One of the best I would recommend is Big Cedar Lodge it's 10 times the resort.
