This place is amazing! Food, beds, rooms, price, I could go on and on! If you haven't booked your stay yet, what are you waiting on? You will not regret it, but you WILL kick yourself if you dont!

What a wonderful place. So many things to look at all over the grounds. Good food. Pleasant ownership. Worth a trip.

Massive old house, Friendly, helpful owners. The only place in Rome that didn't raise prices during Irma. Amazing wood work in this old home. Loved staying there.

This was one of the best and most beautiful bed and breakfast places I have ever had the privilege of staying in. The rooms are beautiful. The house is stunning and beautiful. It is quite and only 1 to 2 miles away from any thing you may need.
The breakfast is devine and the coffee is just right. I hope to be back there as soon as I can.
It is a quaint and quite and relaxing.

So my girlfriend and I arrived to the Claremont House late after midnight for our check-in. Chris was amazing to give us an envelope stashed on the property with our keys and room information. The driveway onto the property was difficult for my car when it was loaded down with luggage - bottomed out check-in night and on our checkout day.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The outside is beautifully maintained and the inside of the house has been kept up very nicely. The accents in the house as well as the stairway are beautiful showing the age of this home. The rooms are absolutely amazing - very airy and welcoming. The only problem(that wasn't even a problem) in the room was that you could hear the occasional train or semi roll by at night.

Breakfast was amazing. Chris catered to my specific diet and my girlfriend had different breakfast each day(she loved the pancakes). He had give us recommendations for places to visit and eat.

All in all, I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. It was a very welcoming stay and it was close to downtown Rome by 5 minutes.

    We will be back!

Stayed here because there were no other vacancies in town for the airshow weekend in Oct 2016.

The owners were out of town--Disney World vacation. OK. I can understand that---but the house was empty except for the guests for most of the time we were there--there were two ladies who served breakfast and then they left for the day. The back door was left unlocked all of the time. There were cats and chickens all over the patio furniture which meant that you had to avoid it or get your clothes dirty.

    Would not recommend.
