The Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego is a magnificent hotel. Whatever room you get, you are guaranteed a spectacular view of the San Diego Bay. The Seaport tower provides a wonderful view of either the USS Midway or our the Coronado Bridge. Similar views are available from the Harbor Tower as well. Rooms are spacious and very accommodating. Larger families can get rooms with adjoining living rooms which act as a great common area between rooms. Market One, the in house food store, has a great selection of salads and sandwiches. They also serve Starbucks coffee, if you want it. The service in all parts of the hotel, from the front desk, to the bellhops, and extending to the room service and housekeeping staff, is excellent, and everyone is really helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anything from a weekend getaway to a large corporate event.

This amazing hotel is located in great area. Nice view to ocean, clean, luxury, nice and large rooms. Hotel and car parking accessibility little bit annoying but OK. Car parking fees is expensive. Hotel service and response time is good. I do recommend staying at this hotel if you are willing to visit San Diego. I think it is the best.

We arrived early and they checked us in. The customer service was fabulous, everyone in the hotel was awesome even the folks at the hertz booth. The hotel is in the perfect location, our room on the 25th floor had the view of the city and the water. Breath taking . My boyfriend and I loved every single thing about the hotel and every where we went was just a few minutes away. The city is also beautiful. We will differently be back. Thank you for making my trip to San Diego the best experience I could ask for. Loved it!

I would give this 4.5 stars. Excellent hotel. Staff very conscientious! Wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible and our needs were looked after. The only reason for a half a star less is the linens on the king size bed were not luxurious . the bottom sheet didn't fit. However we have found this has been the case at other hotels as well. They all need a new supplier. This Hyatt is right beside seaport village which is a great little dining and shopping village. Beautiful view from the window of our room.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location. A short walk from the San Diego conversation center and the Gas Lamp. There's a 24 hour food place by the Seaport tower, and super easy access to Seaport Village.

The beds are a bit firm and the sink is kinda annoying. It's nice look at but doesn't drain very well because of the design; it's one of those flat style sinks rather than the usual bowl style which would drain so much better.

Way more pros than cons in my experience and I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and within short walking distance to a wide variety of tourist locations! The service has been great and very accommodating. I was here on vacation but they also have a large convention center and large ballroom spaces for parties. They also have couple in hotel restaurants, in room delivery, and a 24hr market which was nice for snacks or late late night food. I would highly recommend, worth every penny.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in. That's all you need to know. Our room on the 34th floor in the old tower had one of the most dramatic views of a city that I've ever seen. The elevators are quick. The service is perfect. The amenities are perfect. This place deserves the "grand" name in every way. Don't hesitate to splurge and stay here.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful! We only stayed for one night but we got to experience all of their nice little amenities. You can text any question you have to them and they will answer it. If you go out to the pool at night, they have fire pits and will give you complimentary s'mores fixings. It was really quite an experience. When we come back to San Diego, we will definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice Hotel! Everything about it screams opulence and beauty. I've stayed here three times over the years for a week each time. I really like it! The pool is nice. The bar at the top of the tower is definitely worth a visit. The views are sweeping and very, very impressive. The Hyatt is located right next to Seaport Village (a touristy shopping place) which is always fun to visit. It is within walking distance of the USS Midway aircraft carrier museum. I'll come back because it is very nice.

Right in the middle of the action. No other single location in SD could be better. You do pay for it though. Penthouse was amazing, though not for me, but the groom of the wedding I attended. Ordinary rooms still awesome. Service was top notch.

One of the best hotel stays I have had. Rooms are clean and well furnished. The staff is excellent and attentive. And of course the views and location to lots of restaurants, stores and attractions make it an awesome choice to stay.

The room and view is nice. The hotel is gorgeous with a nice bar and several other amenities. Tons of shops on the water everything is in walking distance. House cleaning didnt get to our room the next day until after 4pm. Surprised to find an empty beer bottle behind our bed. Who knows how long it's been there. Carpets made my feet dirty. Oh, and I used the iron and it left a burn stain on my shirt. Ya know the one you get when an iron is old.

Spent a few days over NYE at this magnificent hotel, it was outstanding. Service is off the scale courteous, friendly and efficient. As it was raining, we had car service door to door from hotel to our NYE dinner at Addisons. Dinner was truly spectacular, the superb seven (probably nine!) course tasting menu was beautiful to look at as well as eat! The wine cellar also superb. We also took in the spa which again did not disappoint in any way, excellent professional therapists. All in all, as serious world travellers, we found this hotel a truly five star resort.

Great service, very helpful staff, and the food was great. However it was the worst four nights I have spent in any hotel bed. My wife and I took turns sleeping on the couch because it was more comfortable. I spent 30+ years in the Army and I've had foxholes more comfortable. The sheets were somewhere between burlap and sandpaper. It was such a disappointment after all of the other wonderful things about this hotel. Why they would choose to cut corners here is beyond me.
