Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. Our home away from home.

Clean and comfy. Hotel staff is amazing! Jennifer went out her way to help me on several things, from credit card issues to printing papers for work, etc. during my stay. Nice variety for a "continental" breakfast. Great price. Will definately stay here again :)

Beautiful newly renovated room, great price, great staff, great and beautiful location and views. OK complementary breakfast. Room floors pretty and looked clean, but made my socks dirty. New name is Baymont Inn & Suites.

Switched rooms because the tv didn't work. Pillows were flat. In room coffee put had a lot of mold growing in it. The only good thing i can say was the night clerk was very friendly, nice, and helpful.

This place has the most incredible view and the staff up front are absolutely wonderful. The rooms are undergoing renovation but the ones who are doing them are incredibly friendly and respectful, finished rooms are modern and beautiful. This place seems tucked away in the middle of nowhere which is great if you are looking to get away from every day life, but there are so many places to eat and shop just down the road. An absolute gem in what seems like the middle of nowhere. I'd definitely stay here again and again.

This is an older motel that has recently undergone renovation & a name change to Travelodge. It shows as the property is dated. It was probably one of the first motels in the area & is located off I-40E at exit 290. This is two exits away from most gas stations & other eating establishments in Cookeville. We booked the motel online for a motorcycle rally in the area. The price was $45/nightly & that's what attracted me. When we arrived, we were told they had over-booked online & the front desk clerk put us up-the-hill in an apartment style room that was more spacious over a traditional hotel room. The hill was quite steep for motorcycles, but flat at the top for parking. The room was clean to be so dated. While the bed was comfy & the water was HOT, the room smelled HORRENDOUS! Someone had obviously been smoking in it for years. Every time we re-entered the room from the outside, we were hit in-the-face w/ a musty odor of stale cigarettes. We purchased a candle & some potpourri spray while in town to help keep the smell under control. The breakfast each morning consisted of waffles, coffee, juices, along w/ biscuits & gravy. The staff couldn't be any friendlier. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay, this will do, but there are better options off I-40 at exit 287.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Furnishings were extremely outdated. Beds were uncomfortable but rates were cheap

Stayed here and LOVED it! Very friendly staff, comfy beds, large rooms, the tub had water jets in it perfect after a long drive on the road and your just wanting to relax. The prices are very good totally worth staying here if your traveling thru Tennessee and looking for a nice comfortable place to rest your head (: Will come back next time I'm in town!
