I only write reviews for exceptional service. I have stayed in many hotels and this is by far my best experience ever. The staff and management is very friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond the call of duty even when it wasn't expected. The staff is totally committed to their work. The clean rooms, nice location, and food are worth mentioning as well. This hotel actually has compassion for their guests and I am looking forward to the next time I'm able to stay.

Hotel has nice clean rooms and above-average breakfast, but the main reason this place deserves a review is their service. I do a lot of traveling, domestic and international, so I can't just sit down and recall every hotel experience I've had, but I think I'm still safe in saying this is the friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever encountered in an hotel. We came in after a long 18 hours on the road, and that genuine friendliness and helpfulness was just over the top, I don't know how else to describe it. There's something special about when an hotel goes beyond trying to just be professional or classy or whatever, and they just try to make you feel at home. That's what these folks did; talk about representing your company well! they give a lasting good impression, not just of their location, but of the entire chain.

I arrived there on Thursday 2/22/2018 and stayed until the following Tuesday. They were all so, friendly and nice and took good care of us. We, was in town for a death in our family and everyday they asked if there was anything they could do for us in our time of need.Shelia one of the managers there was sweet she moved us from the 3rd floor to the first and had our luggage moved while we, was out for the day. The lady that does the breakfast gave us a beautiful card and prayed for us while we, sat at the breakfast table. How many people do this for others now days? They do and i recommend them for any need you have in that area.

Very nice hotel located convienantly off the interstate with easy in and out. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was a great treat with plenty of variety and choices from hot to cold options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rates were fair and reasonable, but a touch higher than other hotels in the area. My biggest issue were the beds - not very comfortable, in fact they seemed flat without much support. Fix this and this is a 5 star rating and I'll definitely be back when in town.

The Inn is newer, clean, and well located in town. The rooms was big and clean. The wifi is reliable and the business center is well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and abundant. I would stay again.

I received my credit card statement today and see that I was charged $200 more than the fee I paid to Priceline. I called the front desk and was told this was for a cleaning fee due to smoking.
I was alone and NOT smoking.
I had no guests, went to bed early and left early the next morning.
This is obviously a foul-up with housekeeping and an outrage.
I am awaiting a call to clear this up but am extremely upset.

If they straighten this out I'll post that they have done so.

UPDATE

After a restless night for me, Sheila at front desk graciously resolved the error. I will stay here again whenever I'm in the area. Very comfortable.

Nice hotel. We stayed in a suite. The king bed was mostly comfortable, but the pullout couch was terrible, despite being assured it would be comfortable. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom, which was bring shared by three people, not helpful. And when we were checking out, the person at the desk was too engaged in her conversation to acknowledge me for several minutes. Then, rather than putting the person on a quick hold or even telling me to just give her a minute, she mouthed "you're all set," as she wanted me away. Just didn't feel like STELLAR service. But other than that, the hotel was very nice: clean, spacious, great breakfast, & friendly, attentive staff (when they aren't on the phone).

We truly enjoyed our stay here at the Cookeville Country Inn & Suites. We were in town for the solar eclipse and the staff just went above and beyond to make that experience enjoyable and memorable. From the minute we checked in, they were giving us tips and pointers to avoid congested areas and suggestions for dinners. They gave everyone staying an eclipse gift bag which included glasses, moon pies (amazing!), waters and other items. The rooms themselves were very spacious (we had a double queen). All of us agreed the beds were so comfortable and it made sleeping very pleasant. The free breakfast provided each morning was bountiful and delicious and was a great way to start our days here. The pool area was kept up very well and we had a great time there as well. Every time a staff member walked by, even outside, they would greet you and ask how you were doing and if they could do anything for you. During the eclipse, they continuously walked around handing out ice cold waters to everyone waiting outside in the 90+ degree weather. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling through the area. The drive to Nashville is only about an hour or so too, which was very convenient.

Fantastic hotel!! Great staff, super helpful and very friendly! We looked at other hotels in the area and I'm very glad we checked in on this one. The gentleman at the front desk, Daniel, was so nice and really made us feel welcome. He made check-in easy and the room he suggested for us was perfect!! The king suite with jetted tub was huge and very modern and well taken care of. There was so much room in the suite, which was highly appreciated after days on the road. The separate king bed area was private and the bed was comfortable, crisp and clean. The sleeper sofa in the main room was full size and great for our son. Each area had its own tv and its own thermostat so we were all comfortable. The shower had great pressure and many settings, and the jetted tub was relaxing after a long drive. The breakfast the next morning was great! Eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, muffins, bagels, pastries, waffles and more. Everything in the hotel was clean and everyone we saw was very friendly. The pool area was big, clean and the hot tub was wonderful. There were tables and sitting areas that were nice to relax outside at. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful hotel. Stayed for one night during a road trip. Room was clean, comfortable, and cold (good for a summer trip!). Breakfast was pretty good (eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, cereals, baked goods, etc.). Will definitely stay again should my travels take me that way!

Staff was super nice! Rooms were very neat and clean. Plenty of towels and pillows. The mattresses were just the right firmness and were comfortable. The shower was nice and roomy with plenty of hot water. Vending machines with sodas were easily accessible and the ice machines had plenty of ice. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. 😊👍

Location is about an hour from downtown Nashville, which allows for a much more affordable stay, while still being able to easily visit downtown Nashville. The rooms are very nice. The staff is amazing! They are very welcoming and make you feel like family. The complimentary breakfast is hands down the best of any hotel I've ever stayed at!
