It was loud. Walls are thin. It is next to an emergency service facility, fire and ambulance. The other guests were up late, and the dog next door got up early.
The shower did have plenty of hot water.

New ownership and a lot nastier. We used to be half way excited about staying, but when we arrived after shopping yesterday afternoon, our room had not been vacuumed, boogers, snot, ETC was all over the walls and our sheets were dirty. Not happy at all

This place has gone completely down hill. It's not even a good enough place to get a decent night's rest. They have bed bugs, yes I saw them crawling on my pillow. There was no drawer in the bedside table in the room I stayed in. One of the other drawers it when you pulled it out fell directly to the floor. The ceiling in the bathroom looks as if it may fall in at any moment. I would not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel even if it was free.

So noisy! Weird smell in the room. People in room next door were yelling and fighting, kids running around upstairs. Poor sound proofing. Ceiling was peeling. Needs repair. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very skimpy, no protein. Coffee weak. Big room.

After reading many of the previous reviews regarding this inn, we were very apprehensive as to what to expect. However, as this was eclipse weekend, there was no choice on where to stay. On arrival, check-in was quick and easy. We went to our room and inspected it to see if anything was lacking And our fears were soon put to rest. Yes, the place could definitely use some rennovation (for instance there was mold in the corners near the ceiling of the bathroom due to the humidity in there), but everything else we as guests would be using (floor, sheets, sink, tub, toilet, and towels) was clean and ready for use. Over all, we enjoyed a pleasant and worry-free night.

We stay here once a year during our annual vacation in Tennessee. The price is amazing for the room you get. I've never had a problem at this hotel. Beds are comfortable, shower gets hot, and it has all the amenities you need. I knocked a star off only because there has been a slight smell to our room before. Nothing bad, just smelled slightly musty. But it disappeared by the second day. And who cares? We aren't on vacation to stay in the hotel room all day! It's on the corner of a main road with lots of businesses which is convenient, but we've never had a problem with noise. It's our home away from home once a year. Highly recommend!

Terrible. Period. And no one cares. Looks inviting. Price lie on look up. Can get better rooms elsewhere. Most customers not family oriented. Get It? Needs repairs. Many.

So my stay was not enjoyable. The hotel room was nasty the floor had hair all in it around the bed, and the bathrooms I didn't dare use. The front desk manager was very confusing and had bad English upon check out. Also, at the middle of night I was awoke by my neighbor being locked out of his apartment by his girlfriend yelling and causing and honking the horn in his vehicle. If that wasn't enough the place just seemed sketchy.

This was in the bedspread when I pulled the covers back (see pic of used hypodermic needle) with accompanying plastic druggie wrapper under the bed
Lots of regulars staying there & folks living there it appears makes for an unsafe & unsanitary place no matter the price.
Cigarette urns outside of many of the non-smoking rooms.
The Motel 6 at the next exit up (287) is only $5 more & IS clean & sanitary with more appropriately expected front desk service.

Stopped on Memorial Day during a 16 hour drive. Found this motel on Google and it showed $45 a night. My boyfriend called to ask if there were rooms available and if they offer a military discount. Got to the inn and ended up paying more than if we had been able to book online, over $60, with a military discount. We had two children with us, already asleep, ages 4 and 8, or I would've left because that alone makes me furious. Just woke up on the extremely firm bed and realized we have two hand towels. That's all, two hand towels. Good thing we don't need to shower. The room appears to be clean, the beds were not very comfortable, going to try breakfast now.

Cookeville, TN Key West Inn. I reserved a 1st floor non smoking room. At check in I was put in a 2nd floor smoking room. The room had no towels the outlets did work, their were patch holes in the walls and the floor was sticky. Not worth you money.

Great location, easy to find. Room was clean and comfortable. Need more shampoo though. Breakfast had a good variety of quick foods to choose from. The staff was amazingly nice to us.
