Service was great until one of the staff members was incompetent and charged me twice for a movie I did not see. Instead of her seeking assistance for returning the funds to the credit card, she charged us twice. When returning to the theatre they felt to compromise, they would offer us passes. “We can’t take a loss and refund you the money without the receipt.” If your staff does not know how to properly do their job, it is best to seek help.
Great seats and scenes and great service by the staff. The patrons trashed the place and don't give the staff space or time to clean up inbetween movies.
Change your policy on refills on the "Deluxe" popcorn or at least tell Stubs members BEFORE they spend $16 on a large that there are no refills included in that price. Very damaging to your movie going experience find out 15 minutes into the movie that you'e eaten as much stale offsite popped popcorn as you can stomach and then you can't even replace it with regular popcorn so that you at least get one full large bucket for your $16. Not worth paying for a movie to sit there for the last 90 minutes angry.
Very nice mall and theater, never been here since we live in bradenton but came here for a specific movie
It was nice. The chairs don't recline. Beverages and Popcorns etc are very expensive. Food price should be controlled a bit.
The last 3 times we have been to AMC Westshore there were long lines at the concessions with only 1-2 people serving. Forget about popcorn. The sound technology is old and outdated in half of the theatres; the sound if so muddled you can hardly pickup half the soundtrack. This outfit forgot about the quality of the customer experience a long time ago. Not going again.
It's a decent theater. Nothing spectacular. The staff could be friendlier and more consistent with enforcing rules. Smiling and welcoming customers would be nice. During one visit with my fiancé, I hurried to try and finish a smoothie I had purchased in the mall food court because I knew it wouldn't be allowed into the theater. As my fiancé was purchasing tickets, I watched two young men be allowed into the theater with gigantic frappes from Starbucks. I decided to try to take my almost finished smoothie in just to see if I could. I was immediately told that I could not enter with my drink!! I understand the rule but don't pick and choose when you want to enforce it.
The area is nice , however, the movie theater is outdated. They still have regular seats , no reclining chairs . Their food is poorly cooked and their alcoholic beverages are watered down .
The environment is clean but it's not worth the bad experience that I had. This location employs dishonest people. I lost my wallet and phone and came back TWICE the next day only for the same person to tell me it wasn't turned in. It was only until I wrote a letter to corporate was when it magically appeared.
I can't hold anyone accountable for my things, so my letter to corporate was about how he handled the situation (how he didn't look, didn't call a manager when I asked for one, told me he was the manager) and within a day I got an email saying my things were TURNED IN THAT SAME NIGHT.
Imagine how many people assume their things are gone for good when in reality employees like this guy just don't care. I shouldn't have to email corporate just to get the truth out of these people. I had to buy a new phone and cancel all of my cards just to find out that it was there all along. There might be a 30 day period that they hold things then maybe they'll throw it away/keep it? I'm not sure what this guy's motives were other than genuine laziness and lack of integrity.
Managers (the REAL ones) were apologetic, so I guess that's the only part of the process that was tolerable.
