We have been going to this theatre for years since it was IMAX and close but have now started driving a little farther to Marcus. Better prices on tickets and concessions and just better in general. The new owners have really let this place go all around. From the outside parking lot having potholes and needing some upkeep to removing the easy ticket machines when you walked in to an older process. The kids that work there need more training on everything and it’s always over staffed when we go but it’s like you are inconveniencing them to help you. The last few times we have gone the theatres have been extremely dirty when walking in and floors have been sticky and the soda machines have been warm and out of ice. The IMAX sound was turned WAY up for the previews to the point where it hurt mine and my husbands ears but then at a normal level during the movie. It has really turned into a dump and we will not be back. The only good thing about this place is it’s not crowded- because nobody goes there anymore. You should always be able to get tickets to new releases last min.

It's an excellent movie theater with comfy chairs, plenty of leg room and big screens. Their bathrooms are very well kept. I deducted 1 star because their concessions are horrendously over priced, but I think that's an industry trend that is hard to avoid. It's still unfortunate thought that inexpensive food is marked up so much. Thumbs down to that. Thumbs up to the theater having a bar. It's nice to be able to get a drink if I wanted one.
Long story short, would go back to this theater again.

I have NO idea how people could even rate this place 4 stars. I wouldn’t have rated this movie theater close to a one star , but only did it so I could write this review . Tonight I came to see Jigsaw around 8:00pm (11/15/17 ) with 2 other people. The minute we walked in, the young boy whom we got our tickets from was not welcoming at all. He was talking to his employees as we were trying to get our tickets the whole entire time. He also took FOREVER to give me my actual ticket and change, and did not even acknowledge my existence when I said thank you. I should have went somewhere else , where the environment was more welcoming because this young boy didn’t seem like he wanted to work, let alone be there. If you’re having someone up there, and customers are the first to see this, they should look like they care about their job and not like they just rolled out of bed with a horrid attitude. I WILL NOT be returning because of how rude this employee was to me and my friends. I’ve also noticed some of the reviews on here seem to be complaining about this same person. Please get rid of this person because it looks VERY unprofessional.

Marcus palace in sun prairie is my choice theater. I came here to try something different and regretted it the moment I pulled in the lot. Parking lot is filled with potholes, multiple lights are burned out. The ticket desk is confusing, the lady taking the tickets had no visible uniform on and the concession stand showed flavored popcorn on the menu board but the kid said they don't sell it anymore. Hey is it on the board I asked, he shrugs is shoulders and said I don't know. Not to mention a large popcorn and soda is $15! It's only $12 at Marcus. There was popcorn all over the floor and the reclining seats are very uncomfortable.

Will never return to this dump. Marcus Palace is modern, clean and inviting. This place is old, tired and needs to close.

The staff at this theater is friendly and helpful. Theater is clean, seats recline and are very comfortable. Our tickets were $5, early show on a weekday. Popcorn delicious and free refills on a large size. Received free small popcorn for signing up for rewards program, which is free to join.

Seating is amazingly comfortable. Lots of staff in every area, good food choices. Sound in theater was impressive as well. Saw IT for first time, glad I saw that creepiness there:)

The New Vision theater is my local theater I've been going to this location (regardless of the owner) for the last 12+ years. It's the only theater I go to. Today I purchased tickets for the new IT movie quickly on my phone through my normal Google search method. I show up only to find out I've purchased the tickets for the wrong "amc" location. I couldn't believe it I had forgotten about the change in ownership and this was my fault. However, the manager (best customer service ever) offered us tickets to a later showing at no additional charge. I will definitely order tickets from the right place moving forward and New Vision will continue to be my go to theater for years to come. I wont forget this, thank you!

Just wanted to share an experience we had today- I saw online that Trolls was playing at the AMC Fitchburg which is now under new management- new vision. So my toddler and I went, paid to get in and went and bought a kids popcorn and soda. After the movie was over I saw a sign (way off to the side on the way out) that said that popcorn and soda are Included in the 10am kids movie of the week- which was Trolls. I went and asked the guy working about it who got a manager. I have to say, I've never dealt with someone so rude in my life. From the start- he acted like it was a huge hassle and I was wrong. He first asked me why I didn't know about the deal when I got there and scolded me for not "reading the pamphlet" they handed out that explained the free popcorn. I told him I never saw any pamphlets - where was I to he one? and just looked up movie show times online. He said they handed
Them out all over town and acted like I should have had one. He then continued to tell me it was my fault that I didn't see the sign in the theater- which isn't visible on the way in- not to mention really not visible with an excited toddler at my side- not really able to mosey around the theater. I mentioned to him that maybe he should have his ticket seller remind people who come for that movie (only one playing at that time) that they can bring their ticket stub to the counter for a free popcorn and soda - and he basically said "don't tell me what to do" lol it was comical over $5. Never experienced a "manager" so rude. Because of this- we won't be back. They have the same program at the other theater in town.
Marcus cinemas off high point in Madison is the only theater I will go to from now on- they hosted my entire grade level of 200 kids this spring and gave us ALL free popcorn and we're very kind- filling up a water for each kid. That is customer service. Stay away from here.

For Audi 1. Very comfortable, reclining seats. Big, curved screen. Great audio and video quality. Good food. Mozzarella sticks were really good.

It's a good theatre with comfortable seating and decently sizes screens. None of the new features that modern theatres have though (reserved seating, electronic recliners, etc).

Great place. Clean. Nicely situated just south of Mad Town. Nice little getaway. Never too crowded. They offer full scale, quality motion picture viewing, while not being in a big busy area.

If you're going to see a current blockbuster, see it here. Like most theatres, they screen the top few movies in the biggest, nicest theatres in the complex - and here, that includes big, cushy reclining seats with footrests. So nice! Parking was easy and not crowded, too, staff was nice, and facility was clean. Worth driving out of Madison for movie night!

The staff is helpful and friendly. The facilities are always clean and polished. I have a lot of fond memories my friends and I have created there over the years from movie premiers of big budget movies on the I MAX to fun family friendly animated movies with my daughter. With my Premier Stubs card I get lower cost tickets on Tuesdays, free size upgrades on popcorn and sodas, plus I earn points for movie tickets or concessions. I'm a big fan of this location.
