The campus is beautiful but the quality of students and instructors have plummeted over the years. The school is way into social justice and not enough into real education.I remember when I was on campus and working at the student union, I would frequently meet students who could barely read but they still got in.

This university is so good, I love it. I will study here in the future, please study here once in a lifetime because it is very modern and convenient for everyone. Everyone here is very friendly, the teachers are very good and excellent. I love this university very much 🥰

I started school here in the early '80's and stayed. There is such a University camaraderie that is evident throughout academics, sports, and the general atmosphere of a world class University. I am a UW Alum as well as a UW Union Member. I am proud of my Bachelor's and Master's and it has fared me well! Excellent choice to start your career.

If you are planning on attending this school or working here, please reconsider your decision. As the school seems to be completely okay with letting racism run their institute of learning. Especially on the football field. And they seem to be especially okay with simulating a noose around Former President Obama's neck and hanging him. Not a good look for the university

I was just recently in the UW Hosppital for personal reasons, I got to say the Nursing staff as wel as the Doctors, Therapist, and the Social Workers really did help me get back healthy. I guess thats why they call it "UW Health."
Thanks again to all the staff there!
P.S. the housekeeping staff and can't forget about the kitchen staff! Overall is was my best stay at a hospital period!!!

Just so everyone who goes to this school knows..Nate osgood (who deliberately harmed a donor to the U of Sask) from the university of saskatchewan in canada are ivy league grads and they work in canada because Americans are fucking stupid. Take this advice from a grad from 2013.americans are so dumb Donald Trump never realized he is just like the queen from the birtish commonwealth. GO CANADA!!!! Also if you end up failing biologylearn german and go look up regular polytopes on googlethe sat is a joke canada admits you based on an overall grade average so it is accurate. Canadian schools are so much fucking better I cannot tell you guysthere is a reason ivy league grads leave. ALso, Juxin Liu failed a donor to the school while pregnant and she doesnt even speak english! THe indian dean Raj who pretended to get fired on their recent website smelled like curry. Teachers who dont meet the basic standards should not fail students and should be fired for not meeting the standards!

Overpriced. Surprisingly bad DataSci program thru UWEX. On the other hand, the Madison campus has a great Location. MATC is way better!

I liked this place really a lot. I stayed over there for a week and had great fun, nice backyard lake view. It's such a live and vibrant place to live.

Graduated 2017. Fantastic college experience. Good athletic spirit and academic environment. You can have a promising future while having fun (top party school) at UW Madison. Go Badgers!

I do not go to this school, nor do I even live in WI. I am visiting and thinking about transferring. My point is that all I am rating on right now is what I saw and explored - mixed with how we were treated by other students and staff. Had a great experience. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous and they have a really cool little alley with food carts. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We were approached twice by people who could tell we were clearly lost!! HA. I appreciated that very much. Only 4 because I don't know how the actual classes or professors are there (yet?).

The Mississippi of the upper Midwest, so lots of insecure yokels pretending to be sophisticated and progressive. A few decent post-grad departments, but anything good here is available elsewhere cheaper and less try-hard, and with much better weather.

Great school and certainly very challenging. Huge number of research opportunities and a lot of cool events around campus. Be ready to get destroyed first year if you're pursuing a STEM field and used to cruising through high school and getting a 4.0, I certainly did.

Love my experience here. My wife is a badger. Was able to take in the Duke Wis game. So amazing. Go Duke. Would give 5 stars if I wasnt asked to meet badger fans in the parking lot after the game. Sore losers.

Excellent academic, beautiful campus & facilities and wonderful sport teams!

However compare to many elite institutions on the coasts, it lacks the diversity and global perspective required to become a worldly competitive institution. And sometimes the school gets too politically correct.
