They had a better than average breakfast and the rooms were nice. We did find ants in both rooms we had though.

First room received had not been clean. Bed was made, but obviously dirty. Body hair and crumbs were in between the sheets. Our room did get changed right away and we were given an upgraded room, but it was kind of ruined for me, wondering what was cleaned and what was "cleaned". Breakfast was terrible, don't even bother. There are a lot of restaurants around so just go somewhere else. Just stay somewhere else, it's really not worth it.

Good location for the alliant energy center. Rooms are clean and spacious. Free coffee and breakfast is a bonus.

A very solid budget hotel. Easy access off the highway. Clean rooms, an excellent selection for the free breakfast. Friendly, responsive service. Restaurants nearby - two sharing a parking lot, Qdoba and a taproom, more within 5 minutes drive. Every AmericInn I've stayed in has been well run, and this is no exception.

Very clean, staff was very friendly. Room was clean and spacious. The pool room in particular was well kept and very clean as well. The hot tub was large and looked like it was well maintained. The continental breakfast had a few weak points, like the bacon and orange juice being something that I'm not sure is actually bacon or orange juice, but those are minor gripes considering it was all free. Make your own waffles was there and as good as you'd expect it to be. Overall highly recommend this well kept hotel

Booked for our wedding block and had a wonderful experience. They were very helpful in getting gift bags to all our guests as well as breakfast was very good! Their service was incredible at the front desk and made for a wonderful experience on what could have been a very stressful weekend

An inexpensive and clean hotel. I prioritize the bed and shower. The bed could have been more comfortable, but it wasn't bad. The shower was current and had a good shower head with great water pressure. There was a breakfast, but I didn't partake. I would definitely recommend a stay if you need an overnight in the area.

We spent many days there over the course of a few years. My husband was getting treatments an surgeries at the University an found this place to be our home away from home. My late husband, Carmen, had surgery an was in the hospital for a week. My small son an I stayed at the hotel an felt like we were treated like family Even the owner was very attentive to us, an would always ask how my husband was doing.. My husband is gone an this year my son an I are planning on staying there over the Christmas holiday weekend.

A room there was considerably cheaper than many of the hotels in Madison. I stayed overnight because I had to work on the area in the morning. Nice staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Top notch all around
