Great hotel. There are great views from the rooms, lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Right in the heart of auckland city

Though the lobby is great spot for a coffee, unfortunately it not as comfortable for a nice quite sit down. Too much going as one may expect from a hotel lobby. Coffee was reasonable so overall it was an okay experience

This hotel is superb everything you expect from a 5 Star Hotel. Fantastic dining options either on site or just outside front doors of hotel ( And these are award winning resturants also) and can charged back to your room.Rooms are nicely laid out some great views however you will have to ask when booking.Gym & pool area are very modern and are very clean and tidy. Some staff could be a little more friendly.

Enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable, clean rooms with daily room service. Good coffee available at the Gusto restaurant downstairs in the mornings, they also do meals or takeaway breakfast/ coffee and pastries. The hotel is central to everything and staff are helpful. If you are lucky you may get to enjoy watching people do BASE jumping from the Sky Tower across the street.

Our room was clean and beautiful. The service is always friendly and very helpful when needed. I will say to request a room with a view of that's your thing because where we were there wasn't much to look at, just the neighbouring high rise. Overall an excellent place for couples looking for a one night stay or a longer holiday in the city.

Wonderful and homely. Specifically they trust the guest a lot. It's an exceptional manner which I never seen before around the world tour like 30 countries as well. Thanks SkyCity Grand for your exclusive hospitality.

Over priced breakfast. 32$ each but nothing hot and cooked. Waiter asked if we wanted anything else so asked for omelette. When bill came we discovered a surcharge had been added breakfast was. $84 for two people( this was not communicated with us when the order was taken). Never been to a top class/rated hotei around the world that did not have a hot cooked breakfast as part of the deal. Disappointed - we are eating elsewhere for the remainder of our stay.

The hotel is in the best location of downtown Auckland, very close to museums, Queen St which is the street where all the good branded shops are, and walking distance to the harbour. The amenities in the bathroom were very good. The only thing is the beds, they are not so comfortable nor the pillows, also one of the beds the duvet was dirty with spots of something we believed could be blood.

Stayed on the 16th floor of the Skycity Grand Hotel for one night. It was a gorgeous room with window view of the city and a nice rainfall style, walk-in shower. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. I'll be staying here again when I vacation again in Auckland.

If you have an opportunity to stay here you will not be disappointed. Beautiful upmarket hotel, restaurant and bar makes you feel like you are in another country. Very elegant. An amazing weekend get away spot in the heart of Auckland.
