My bridesmaid booked 2 nights stay for my wedding. The best wedding gift, the rooms were decent size for what you pay. The staff very efficient, I called room service so many times for little things and they delivered to my room within a short time of calling. I ordered room service for breakfast, it was served hot and with fresh brewed coffee. The lobby had a nice chandelier and front office staff was friendly and helpful.

Was there for an all day conference. I remember when first opened. We use to go there for cocktails. Initially central heating was freezing. After a huge lunch it improved. People were nice except for one young man who really needed to be a wee bit more engaging at the desk instead of giving directions unhelpfully. Maybe it was too early in morning.

I love walking into the Langham Auckland - the elegance, the stunning chandeliers, the calm ambience - it feels classy & makes you feel very special. We went wirh friends for breakfast at Eight restaurant. A full buffet where you can eat as little or as much as you want - superb! Great staff - attentive but not intrusive, polite & friendly. The Langham never disappoints.

For a self proclaimed 5 star hotel I was not that impressed. At the time of this review the hotel was under renovation so thing might be different soon.
I can understand why they are renovating as the first thing I would say is that it is feeling quite dated - that is more to say to room fixtures and fittings, the foyer still has elegant charm
The other reason for the reduced score is that while stated that renovation was after 8am, I was hearing noises from 7am onwards.
Currently it is still one of the nicer hotels in Auckland but with the number of new construction underway, it has a long way to go to keep up with the soon to be competitionresponse / report this review -

We only stayed one night but it was really a great experience. Tge staff were great, the room comfortable, although a bit dated. I'm happy to say they are refurbishing and cant wait to stay over again 😀

Lovely hotel. Reception and porter staff really professional and helpful. Restaurant service could be improved. Beautiful rooms and great spa area. Easy access to motorway for out of towners. Thanks for a great weekend.

Our recent stay was ok, due to the noisy renovations but we were warned well in advance. Clean, comfortable rooms, gym, spa and slightly heated pool. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Bit of a walk to the viaduct as located at the other end of queen st. Late night pool hall nearby at Orange. Hotel just needs a bit of an update with decor, maybe a slightly fresher look will go a long way - one night stay, 16.07.17.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Slightly dated rooms but I guess that's their style. Helpful staff but nothing is free. I would recommend staying for business but it was nothing out of the ordinary for the money we paid. Happy with our stay.

Lovely hotel with great service from staff. Everyone is friendly and very accommodating. Pool and spa are great. Changing room experience is amazing with showers sauna and steam room with Ice experience to invigorate your skin and pores. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very good service: I had asked for an additional power adaptor, it was in my room 10 seconds later. The concierge was quite knowledgeable about the local food scene and made great recommendations. It's a nice walk to city center, but if you are feeling lazy, there is a hotel shuttle that runs on a schedule all day. The bathroom is a little small, but adequate. The hotel has a very nice saltwater pool that's heated, as well as a jacuzzi - highly recommended.

The Most Elegant Place I Have ever stayed. The Beauty, Fragrance like heaven the Food and the bed. I couldn't actually sleep, mostly because I celebrated a bit and was still excited, but my Bed cuddled me like clouds, too rejuvenating to miss. Your Staff they run like clock work. Please Give them a pay rise please they deserve it xox.

One of the greatest hotels I've ever stayed at so far. Easily the best dinner buffet I've ever had at 8 restaurant; it's honestly worth starving yourself all day and paying for it. Staff is absolutely top notch all around. Breakfast buffet is again beyond reproach. Rooms are cozy and exceptionally clean, wonderful hygiene products. We could not be happier with this choice.

We were overwhelmed by our recent experience at The Langham. I had booked a suite for our anniversary and upon arrival was told we had been upgraded. To our delight and surprise we had put in the best suite in the Hotel (The Royal Suite) The suite was amazing! With the upgrade we had use of the facilities in the club rooms, which included drinks and canapes and a very tasty breakfast. The service during our stay was excellent, the food was also fabulous. I would highly recommend The Langham and will definitely be visiting again
