On the outskirts of the city. Our room had a smell we couldn't get rid of, they arranged for us to change rooms.

So not HAPPY with my stay at this place.
My room had mouldy stained walls,roof,shower and toilet was not clean and had grime and mould everywhere.
I left a day earlier than I played for it was that disgusting have heaps of photos

The room was lovely and spacious. The outdoor spas were nice to relax in. The only negative is that you can hear cars quite clearly.

Didnt get to stay here because they don't understand the difference between amending a booking and cancelling. A word of advice ring if unsure. Don't stay here because they arent honest and will pretend to your travel company that they didnt get email from them but to your face they show you and tell you they cant do anything. Really rude. Go elsewhere there are plenty of wonderful places.

Cosy atmosphere, has mineral pool, big well equipped room (stayed in standard queen studio). Beutiful with lots of flowers and helpful staff.

Came into rotorua looked up trusty trip advisor and this place seemed like it got good reviews. We were going past so we pulled up to the hotel carpark, when a guy comes out to the car park asking what we are doing here?? (Your a hotel, what do you think we are doing here for a room maybe?)
Ask what was available and he said only room left was $140. (Ok fair enough) I turned to my dad and ask him if that was to much for him as he was paying. Just then Ron turns around and storms off and while walking off tells us "forgot it then", leaving us in the car park.
Like most people i have stayed in many hotels over the world over the years and never ever have i had that kind of reception in any country or hotel. Ron made me embarrassed of New Zealand at that point in time. Maybe the guy was having a bad day or something but now he made me feel angry and disappointed.
Went down the road to Apex on Fenton to be greeted by proper kiwi hospitality, friendly nice man. Needless to say that was where we stayed.

Great central location, off-road parking. Cosy accommodation. Lovely hosts. We recommend conversing with hosts to learn the top tourists spots in Rotorua. They will give suggestions and ideas based on the # of days you are staying. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
