The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us with the last minute shuffling around of our plans. Enjoying our time there was definitely the main concern of the staff.

The motel units are spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. I had to stay here for about 3 weeks after my house was flooded, and it was peaceful and comfortable. A bonus is the delicious food at the Brook bistro onsite. It is a short walk to the Skyline Luge & Fairy Springs & an easy 10 minute drive into the city, but there is a trout stream running through the grounds and you can watch rabbits & sheep grazing through many of the units' kitchen windows - feels almost rural.

Best Western Braeside in Rotorua, New Zealand is an old fashioned motel with both charm and class. Park at your door, eat gourmet foot in the small restaurant, enjoy a "studio apartment room" all for a reasonable price. This family-owned and managed property is a "sleeper" just outside Rotorua 2km but well worth seeking out, staying in, and driving to the sights.

Braeside Rotorua has become our home away from home. Staff are friendly and helpful and the facility has all the amenities we require. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the prices within our budget. We have a small dog Paddy and he is welcomed as well.

Very nice classic 50's style motel with car access directly outside the room. Nicley decorated and laid out. Friendly service. good restaurant.

Beautiful place to stay..friendly staff..clean gorgeous roomslove looking out to animals in paddock..outside spa was fabulous..great area for the kids to play around and outside pool.

Very comfortable room with a private spa and Creek running behind the room with lush greenery. Unfortunately the housekeeping was unsatisfactory. Our bed was not made completely as the flat sheet was just bunched up under the covers. As we entered our room there was some trash left on the floor (in plain sight) that must have fallen out as she emptied the trash can. This was after one night's stay. Check in staff was exceptionally pleasant and very helpful. Different staff member on check out was just the opposite, very abrupt and gruff.

One of my favourite places to stay in Rotorua. This hotel has a really quiet location, approx 10 minutes drive into central Rotorua.
There is an on-sight restaurant with great room service option, tasty meals and breakfast option for in room dining.
Very friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble. My room has a great spa pool and over-looks farm land which I also enjoyresponse / report this review
