Great service: we arrived by car and the parking was solved quickly, bags taken and check in very quick.
Room and bathroom fine if a little small.
Location is fantastic: close to harbour and Queen's St., so easy to walk everywhere.
    I definitely recommend it.

The staff were extremely helpful and obliging with any of our requirements.and we found the restaurant and bar on the top floor had all that we required in the way of meals and refreshments.. With the comfort of the beds and the decor we found that we both slept extremely well. The hotel is so well located for both the train, ferry and bus services that we had no problems commuting to our desired locations. Over all a very satisfactory visit to the City of Sails!

Enjoyed our stay. We were given the room we requested which was great. Comfy beds, helpful and friendly staff. My only complaint was that housekeeping entered our room twice despite having a 'do not disturb' sign on our door. This needs to be respected as we felt like we were being pushed out. Floor had sticky spots all over it. Other that that we had s good time

Enjoyed the modern rooms with nice big TV . Rooms are little small but very fresh with excellent decor. $1 breakfast on the top floor with a view. Really a great incentive to come back for a stay in central auckland. Parking a factor to price in as there is none so add $20. Value for money 8/10.

The staff were faultless - we had requested twin beds, our room had a king. This was dealt with very professionally. We were moved without any real inconvenience. Our only complaint would be that the sheets used on our twins beds were to small. Both nights both of us ended up sleeping on bare mattress. We travel a lot for business and often share rooms with twin beds, this is the first time we've had this issue. The breakfast was fantastic. I'm gluten free, and it was nice to see that GF donuts were available. Not exactly perfect breakfast food, but a nice naughty treat ( especially when I always have to watch my business partner eat a sneaky pastry 😁)
Keep up the great service, your team is an asset. We'll be back

I stayed here before the hotel had a face lift and it certainly was looking tired. But this stay I must say - what a difference some TLC makes. The renovations give the hotel a whole new feel. This hotel is in a great spot to go and do things and has many restaurants and bars in close walking distance.
Although our room was small, it had everything you would want.

Great view and great location. Unfortunately had a terrible experience, the air-conditioning system on our level stopped working in the middle of our week's stay. Despite informing the staff several times and talking to manager on duty we didn't get any response. On the final night of our stay we got offered to be shifted to another level or we could be provided with a portable heater as it was amidst winter.

We had a very pleasant stay in your hotel - staff were happy & helpful.
Although the room was small it was comfortable, clean & practical - we did not need anything bigger.
Our only complaint was the noise from boy races & partying down on the street - a room on the other side of the hotel might be a better option. The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable ensuring that we should have had a perfect night sleep - unfortunately we didn't get much sleep at all. (Maybe a complementary set of earplugs next to the bed would help :D)
Overall we loved our weekend away, the view from the 13th floor was spectacular, especially when enjoying a good breakfast.

The reception staff were polite and friendly. We were pleased to have our junior suite upgraded on arrival. The executive suite was clean and modern with a partial harbour view. The room telephone was not connected as there was no wall point for it. We reported this to the reception 3 times during our 3 nights' stay, but was never resolved, also no one got back to follow up on this matter. It was rather inconvenient without phone communication with hotel services as well as friends trying to reach us.
There was also drilling and hammering noises from renovation on the floor above during the morning and day.

Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. Also resourceful. It was wonderful to be able to do our own laundry - unique to our experience with staying in several hotels on our trip through Australia and New Zealand. The minor downside was that the television in the yoga studio wasn't working, but everything else was stellar.

We had a free night (well we paid for it somewhere when we bought that Accor membership). It was due to expire, so I found the only family friendly hotel in the city and booked it. The Mecure is not a nice place. The bathroom was dated and toe-curling dirty. The room, it's self had stained carpets and curtains. The bar staff on the top floor were good. Given a choice I would not go back - even for free

I liked the hotel. Unfortunately there were renovations going on in the lobby that were quire loud at times. Other than that, the room was nice and clean and modern and the brunch was quite good!
