What an amazing location! We needed a place to relax halfway between Russell and Taupo. We enjoyed a long walk on the beach. Rooms were nice Wish we had had a table on the balcony. Food at Agave was good.

Castaways Resort is just perfect. The location is amazing the apartments are well equipped with modern appliances and furnishings. But the real winner is the location it's so relaxing to sit out on your private deck and watch the sun set over the water. I would highly recommend Castaways Resort and wish we could have stayed longer.

This is Waiuku's best keep secret. Tucked away on the coast, this is one of the best getaway places in Auckland. The rooms are spacious and service is great. Go for one of the packages as it's great value. Definitely going to try glam camping next. The restaurant and spa are also of high standard and will definitely be returning here in the summer.
