I love this hotel and have stayed there three times and am booked to stay in the new year. Staff are very efficient and friendly, food is excellent and rooms are always clean and tidy. I highly recommend

Nice compact room. Was perfect for what we needed. Could make a coffee ☕️ as jug and cups supplied. Great service when we booked in. Being a member entails you to free wifi. Only issue was the tour bus stop over and Chinese tourists talking loudly to each other in the hall way late at night, slamming doors with no respect for other patrons. There is a fee for parking but is a camera 🎥 monitored car park. To get power put your room key 🔑 in the slot.

Used conference facilities. Staff went out of their way to resolve any problems. Restaurant and bar were nice and spacious. Whole ground floor area well designed and spacious. Rooms functional. Grounds nice.

The hotel was booked by my work place, and I will be advising them not to put up anyone else here. The costs were covered by my workplace, however I was still required to handover my credit card details. WiFi was only free in you joined their loyalty club. Check in was exhausting. Power is activated by the key card, however no one bothered to notify me of this on arrival. Rooms all down one long corridor, and you hear everyone coming and going and slamming the doors all night. Didn't eat there, as the food was overpriced for what it was, and there was an extra $5 charge for room service. The hotel is located on a busy roundabout, and is hard to access. Wouldn't recommend.

Room has all amenities needed, shower had good pressure and heat-although the bathroom setup did feel a little like you are walking into a portal loo! Everything was nice and clean upon arrival. Restaurant staff were amazing in their customer service and the food was fantastic. Concierge was also lovely.

Check in process was easy. Staff were friendly and informative. Found our room easily. Room was clean and as described.
Only downside (we are not regulars at hotels) was that we had an issue getting tv and electronics working. Turned out we needed to put our key card in slot by the door. As the lights still worked without this we were a bit confused. There was also a loud party going on outside until the wee hours of the morning which disturbed our sleep.
Overall however we had a pleasant stay and would recommended Ibis Ellerslie to others.response / report this review -

Great hotel short stay. Loved the complimentary later checkout time. The wifi offered was generous, easy to use and satisfying fast enough to actually work too.
Nice flexible approach to parking including allowing a mid evening excursion without adding more charges.
Bed was comfortable and shower was nice and hot. What more could you want.response / report this review -

Room had everything it needed for a short stay and a place to rest my head. Size of the room was also handy and everything was easy to reach. No bath, pool or sauna. Wifi cost additional.

The accommodations were extremely comfortable, despite initial appearances. The amenities in the room were completely functional and everything was maintained by the custodial staff regularly and to a high standard. The breakfast service featured a large variety of breakfast standards. While it's not 5 star food, it's definitely not shabby for a quick start. The conference rooms were professional looking and spacious.

I was there for my work conference, rooms are very small. its good location away from CBD, clean and nice hotel. very limited parking, Hotel lobby looks busy as they share with Novotel,

Double occupancy rooms had 2 single beds with only a foot between them and barely any room left to walk around them. Breakfast was amazing and checking/checkout was fast and simple.
