Just back from a 3 night stay in this hotl couldn’t fault it thought location was going to be a problem but couldn’t be more wrong the free shuttle bus was a godsend , really friendly staff and great food and staff in the bar , also used the ferry one morning which was easy would really recommend the Noord great hotel

This NH hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Rooms were clean and fairly modern, reception was warm welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect for someone who wants to escape the huddle and bussle of Amsterdam central area. Oh and their hotel reception sweets were yummy 😍!
When we stayed you could get a shuttle bus for free from the hotel to central Amsterdam running every 15 minutes after 10pm until 12:30 pm. If you fancy a nice walk you can walk from the hotel to the ferry port which takes about 20 minutes then get on the ferry over to dam central. This was an option I chose most of the time because it was a nice walk, I think if I was to visit again I would want to ride a bike down ere. You can a real taste of normal life traveling on the ferry and walk-in down these streets.
Only negative point I could make about the hotel is that it's hallways feel dated and slightly dirty. Random appliances seem to clutter the hall. Not a big deal just an observation.response / report this review -

Very comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It has a shuttle that runs you into downtown or you can walk about 15/20 min to the free ferry which takes you Central Station. They also have free bike rentals. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

There is a shuttle service to the Central station and we loved the service provided to the customer till 12:15 am in the morning. The rooms are clean and service is very good. It would have been great and I would have rated 5* if they had more buffet spread to cater all categories of countries. Indians it was difficult.Rooms are big and have seperate rooms with balcony for who smokes! Lake view and road views were there!

This was a very positive experience. From the minute I arrived the staff could not have been nicer. There was a young receptionist on the night shift who was helpful, friendly and professional. He is an asset to the hotel. in saying that every member of staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I guess to name a few, Peter the security guard the gentleman that delivered breakfast to my room, the lady cleaning rooms that I needed assistance from etc. The room was bright and spacious and very comfortable. My only issue which the duty manager did try to rectify was the noise in the hotel. It is like you can hear the 'workings' or the hotel. Fine during the day but at nighttime when all was quiet, trying to sleep for me it was a problem. I hardly slept the first night but the next 2 nights were better with earplugs. The breakfasts were really lovely and fresh with lots of options. So if you are not a light sleeper I would highly recommend this hotel.

The service here was excellent! The staff is incredibly friendly and they have a shuttle to and from Amsterdam Central Station 24/7. The room was plush with a king sized bed and fast WiFi. The halls seem to be a little dated, room signs are falling down, but that doesn't bother me at all. One slight mishap was that the cleaners entered the room in the morning while we were getting dressed.. knock first, or wait until after the check out time!

Near Amsterdam Central station! I only stayed one night but the room was clean and large, everything was sufficient for what I needed. They also provided a handy shuttle to transport you. Great service

Much better! Their Wifi has been upgraded since the last time i stayed there, which was a year ago. The staff is also much nicer.

This is a really great hotel. It is in a great location near shopping, restaurants and on Wednesdays there is an outdoor market across the street. The hotel has a nice bar and a nice sandwich place inside.
