Lovely hotel. A little out of the way - walk to the metro was a little off track. Great customer service, nice rooms - great shower. Only real downside was really flat pillows! Would go back though!

Just awful. Hotel treats you like a criminal and harrasses you because of their own incompetent management. You can't access other floors except the one with your room which is a nuisance if your party is split on different floors. No chance of refund in any circumstance.

Decent hotel in Amstel. Have decent in house restaurant for breakfast lunch dinner. Rooms are bit small but ok for business trips.

Good hotel. Nice breakfast. The hotel is not pedestrian friendly. The walkway to hotel is a driveway for a gas station, and vehicles come in fast. Dangerous. Would not recommend.

It has underground parking lot, small and hard to access from public road. It's established in a somewhat, quiet place in the outskirts of Amsterdam (30 mins car with moderate traffic). The stay is moderate but can hear a lots of noises, specially doors banging in the hallways.

Comfy clean beds, floor was dirty, shower drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom and hall we had to ask twice to get it fixed - otherwise room had new finishings all around. Safe, closet, and shelves provided in room, Flat screen TV with a few english channels, mostly Dutch. WIFI was fast and provided our needs well. Staff was friendly.

The area is a bit remote with no good selection of stores within a short walk, was about 15-20min to walk over to McDonald's i think there was a grocery store near there as well but we never went in as it looked closed (and surrounded by a huge fence), about 10min walk to the metro train station from there it is pretty even between the central station (~20min) and airport connection(~30min) , there is a gas station convenience store next door with some limited items, we ordered delivery as well..

600m walk from nearest metro. Overamstel or spakerlweg. Price is a bit on the higher side as compared to location. But our stay was wonderful. Friendly staff. Kept luggage after checkout. Clean and big rooms. Bed linen towel changed everyday.

Service was swift and effective. The room was clean and included all necessary amenities. Found breakfast varied and served at good hours. Have to walk around 10 minutes to the nearest metro station and high prices in peack season.

Close to the metro station. The metro takes you to the city center in 15 min. Hotel looks like it needs an upgrade. The hotel has one of the best hotel beds we slept in. Super comfy

Stayed here on a business trip visiting a local company, the hotel, it's rooms, staff and restaurant are all excellent. I would visit here again.

Nasty staff, very inappropiate and RACIST comments.

I remember I arrived with two more friends in summer 2014 to this hotel. Of course we are always nice people, speak good English, at that moment we felt excited because it was our first vacation day and we had just landed in Schiphol. I had previously phoned the hotel just to know the exact hour we could do the check-in and leave our luggage. They told me by phone there was no problem.

But the recepcionist (a blonde-barely bold guy in his 30's) told us that they hadn't prepared our rooms

- It's impossible that you can go to the rooms.
- OK -I said- but I called you two days ago to ask if we could do the check-in early in the morning, as we landed Amsterdam at 9 AM, it's 10.30 and we are looking forward to visiting your city.
- Not my business. Go to the city center and come back at 2 PM
- sorry but you can't plan our trip. I'm afraid we decide our own journey.

I got very angry, always in good mood and educated, so other staff people came to us and tried to solve the situation. Finally, there was a room for us and we could start our vacation as planned.

I give this hotel 1 star because I can't give 0. Hope they fired this racist employee

Away from the hustle bustle of the main city, this is a great stay with friendly staff and excellent services. With Metro stations just a few minutes walk away, this is an ideal for anyone who wants to relax as well as enjoy everything Amsterdam has to offer
