DONT STAY HERE worst experience EVER booked this place online from Canada got there pictures did not look like what I booked ON LINE and to top it off the room smelled like a sewer witch the smell was coming from the bathroom told the front desk all they can tell me was o we will let the cleaners know in the morning THE PLACE IS OLD GROSS AND DURTY DONT BOOK HERE AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY IF U DECIDE TO NOT STAY LIKE WE DID its ok they need the money more then me but not fair to others so do not stay at his place its a dive.. NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR BUT THATS THE LOWEST

Bed side lights don't work, you have to hold the shower head. Beds were comfy and shower was warm and the toilet flushed. No warning about a cat either for people with allergies. No where near 2 stars. Terrible.

This tall and rather narrow house (with very steep stairs) is first and foremost a place where drunk, partying young people come to crash for the night during the bachelor(ette) party. Every night that I was there, I was awoken between 3AM and 5AM by drunken people coming in, marching loudly up the stair, and shouting things to each other across the floors.

My room was extremely small, about the size of a small US college dorm room (albeit with my own bathroom, which was also small). The room featured a small fridge, which however didn't work. My friends stayed in a bigger, double room also complained that their fridge didn't work. The rest of the room was filled with old, run down Ikea furniture. My small room had an AC unit, which I didn't expect. It was very hot outside during my visit (28°C), so this was a very welcome feature that I enjoyed immensely. However, my friends staying in the larger double room didn't have such luck - there was no AC unit in their room.

Some of the staff was very unfriendly and suspicious (a consequence of dealing with all the drunk people?), but many other members of the staff were very nice and friendly. Upon my arrival I was informed that although I've already fully paid for my stay (via a third-party booking site), I still need to pay the city tax, which they didn't include in the price provided to the booking sites. So keep that in mind.

It is centrally located, comfortable walking distance from many sights in the city, as well as the central train station.

Free breakfast was provided (in the reception area), composed of bread, jam, peanut butter, basic veggies (tomatoes and cucumbers, mostly), ham and cheese.

"Free" internet (over Wi-Fi) was provided, though it required you to every couple of hours provide an e-mail address (or login with Facebook) and agree to receive marketing e-mails. Saying no to this spam disconnects you from the network. Following my stay I saw the volume of spam increase (on the account that I provided). However, no registration code of any kind is sent to this address, so just use a throwaway one.

Overall this hotel was rather expensive for what it is (despite it's great location), but it should be noted that prices varied A LOT day to day (with some days being more than double of the last), so that's something to keep in mind when considering this place.

It's not a hotel at all, should be called hostel. The rooms are just aweful and small. They also charge you with city tax (€12), and €50 deposit / person top of the room price. Be careful with the stairs!
