Hotel does brilliant at what it aims for. Very well kept room, great sized bathroom and the staff are fantastic. It's a short walk outside the city centre but that's not an issue given the trams. Would highly recommend to any single or couples travellers.

Rijk and Van Gogh museums are a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel - great neighborhood! Dam Square is about a 30 min walk but trams are also available close by as are canal rides and bike rentals.

The hotel is located within walking distance of several attractions and near tram lines for more distant trips. Front desk service was pleasant and the room was kept clean during our stay. The room itself was incredibly small and the beds were lumpy. To get to the rooms there's a choice of an extremely small elevator or the classic near-vertical Dutch stairway. For some reason the key is attached to a very large heavy key fob, something you'd expect to see on a restroom key so it won't be taken by accident. The hotel was a little less expensive than others in the area so perhaps the negatives are outweighed by price.

Very dirty.smelly room. Room was very small . No equipment in the room. Very small TV and no ac nor fan. Beds where dirty and so close to each other that you cannot walk from one side to other side of the room. Staff where rude and unfriendly. I don't recommend it at all specially families.

We stayed in a 4-person room at the top of the hotel. The room was hot and cramped, the fixtures were old and tired, and the shower room was only large enough to swing the proverbial cat. I'm unsure what other nearby hotels cost, but I expected a lot better for €225 a night.

Very comfortable rooms, clean and warm hospitality of staffs. They are very helpful. Highly recommend this place for your stay.

Hotel is fairly easy to get to. Check in was a breeze. They had my room ready so they key me check in early. Thank goodness!!! I did not have the breakfast since there are so many other places to way in the city:)

Located in outer center in calm area, some 15 minutes walk from party center is a good base for exploring beauties of Amsterdam. Nice staff, good price, clean rooms. Beds were very soft but no issue for short stay. Recommended

Very friendly staff, everything is whole and clean and look at the price!! Sure, no one would call this place fancy, but it is just what is needed for a pleasant stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!!

Not a bad hotel in a great location. Beds could be more firm. Place is clean and quiet and 5 minutes from Heineken.

I was there a week in January. Small but more than adequate excellently-appointed room with a lot of light, very clean and cleaned daily. Very personable and helpful staff. The price was excellent and the location superb, near many tram lines and Metro. I have recommended to friends in Amsterdam and abroad. I look forward to staying there again when I visit next year.
