Quite inexpensive, and rooms and location is great, not far from the city center, but still in a quiet area. The service from the staff was very good!

Nice hotel at a reasonable price close to the city centre and the museum district. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection but they weren't filling anything up at 10:30am. Breakfast is from 7-11. Looked after my luggage after I checked out which was a nice bonus.

Lovely little place in a really good location. Quite close to the city center and within a walking distance to every place that you would like to visit while in Amsterdam. The included breakfast was really nice, with decent variety of options, the only downside being the limited seating provided. The three stars rating is due to the fact that the room we where given was a bit dirty. The walls had marks and even freshly killed dead insects on them. Everything was pleasant and the front desk personnel was relatively helpful with the only complaint being that we were not asked how was our stay or if we need any help with the transportation on our departure. All and all we had a good time but not specifically due to our accommodation. Would not recommend without a discount.

Unfortunately I had to change my review. Discovered I was charged for breakfast during my stay which I never had. When I pointed this out to the hotel, I was told that this was included in my booking I then sent them the booking confirmation that showed that breakfast was not included in my booking. Never heard back from them. Really disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant stay.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. Great canalside location. Ten minute walk to centre. Excellent transport links close by. Highly recommend this for city breaks.

Lovely hotel! It was my first time in Amsterdam and most of what I needed for a week's stay was perfect, including the location, close transport links and amenities nearby.
My room was clean, with a nice view and window. The rooms aren't the biggest but for being based in such a central area, it's really good and I was able to get to wherever I wanted either by walking or just taking the tram outside. Staff were really friendly and attentive as well to even the most minor requests. In addition, it felt safe (somewhat surprising as I've not seen any hotels that do this), in a sense that you had to hand in your key (not card!) every time you leave the hotel and then collect it back once you return.
The only downside is that the breakfast is very, very limited and they don't serve any hot food (or do dinner for that matter). The lobby is also really small. Those things are not enough to not give this hotel 5 stars in my books though!
All in all, very happy with my stay and I'll be coming back the next time I'm in Amsterdam.response / report this review -
