Great boutique gotel. Central to everything for shopping and restauranrs. Staff are really great. I took off a star because the shower glass leaks water into the floor getting the bathmats soaked. This is common among European hotels for some reason. Tip: go to the bar and order french fries and a drink (the ginger beer is fantastic). Great combo and the fries are better than any place nearby.

Great hotel. Chic, nice, comfy and very close to the city centre. Breakfast was also very good. I really recommend it, our stay was amazing.

    Amazing hotel.

Pros: Wonderful, kind and helpful staff. Literally every person I spoke with was a gem. They seem genuinely interested in helping you have the best time possible in Amsterdam. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable with a complimentary tea/coffee machine. They also provide high quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc. If you forget anything it's okay because they can provide it for you. The hotel lobby and restaurant are also lovely and offer treats, coffee, tea (nice loose teas that you can put together as well, not some cheap brand from the corner market). Location is ideal. My room overlooked the canal and you could watch the boats going by in the morning.

Cons: It's pretty pricey but they earn every penny and spare no expense to make you comfortable. Parking costs extra and is also expensive, but at least they have it as it's not easy to park downtown and it's still cheaper than parking on the street.

Very cute interiors and full of older nice guests if you're into long conversations in the well done lobby/library.

We stayed as a couple mid-week in February, Americans visiting from London. Hotel Estherea blew us away! The hotel was gorgeous, romantic, classic and charming. The location was perfect - close enough to the city centre without but still peaceful and quiet, with great views of the Singel canal. The service was personal and professional. It was a great deal, and we were upgraded, which made us appreciate the staff and service even more. The little details added up to a rewarding experience, down to the delicious cakes and tea that met us when we came in from the rain. I'll be recommending this hotel to everyone going to Amsterdam.

Fantastic hotel. The beds are very comfortable! I loved the use of the free coffee machines. The hotel is conveniently located in the city to a lot of points of interest. Very knowledgeable staff to assist in your stay and make the most of it. (Free water bottles in the gym downstairs)

Great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a street side room that did get some street noise. However, it wasn't loud enough to disturb us. The location was convenient to all the major attractions, but also just far enough away from the bustle. The entire hotel and the rooms are all immaculately decorated as advertised.
