Been to Zoetry 4x and AM Resorts alternate properties a couple more. My first two stays at Zoetry were excellent (Punta Cana) until the third. Bed bugs ruined my stay and the resort did nothing to satisfy or retain and after 6 requests, the GM never followed up. My 4th stay was at Zoetry Paraiso in Mexico. I arrived, wrong room was given and it took over a day to have the room situation fixed. The service people at the desk aren't empowered to do something when guests have issues. I demanded to speak to the GM and with reluctance, it finally happened day 2. The GM was helpful, as expected. We eventually got the right room. Although the service here was good, there are downsides to this resort. The food is mediocre and, although they boast a private beach experience, the beach is really not good. Even most resorts would clean and scrape sand of weeds and debris, they did not. There's no way anyone can swim. Pool is the better choice - but why go to an ocean to sit at a pool? All pool chairs are taken from early AM (they lack the quantity) by guests who leave a hat on the chair and then walk away for hours. No control here. Many guests were upset. Decor is dated and still very much covered in 80's sponge painted walls. The spa is good and the gym is too for an all-inclusive. The rooms are a great size. No complaints. I give it it a 2 overall but the service is a 3. The resort did a great job of cleaning and the grounds were very well kept. Unfortunately, although this Zoetry location did try to better my experience versus the last in Punta Cana, it still wasn't enough to retain my business for future vacations.

This is our second Zoetry. They do not disappoint. We worked with Ricardo Sanchez to increase our membership in UVC. Rest, relax, enjoy!

Such potential to be a great resort, unfortunately, no one is managing the place. No beach access. No modern amenities. Great place if we paid 1/4 what they asked
Not a good value. We even spent the extra $2000 for the Butler, but he was MIA for our 5 day stay. Not a bad place, but so severely over priced, it was hard to enjoy. There was no privacy at our private pool/balcony; constant traffic from the staff all hours of the day and night. Save some money and stay elsewhere.

Don't believe their website. You only get housekeeping once a day not three. Minibar is filled once a day not twice.

The housekeeper spilled my prescription drugs and mixed up my medicine. I did not realize this till I got home. It took me a week to recover from being overdosed. I could have been killed. I emailed Dante, the manager, about this and never received a response. I guess he does not care if his guests almost die because of his staffs negligence.

Unbelievably friendly staff and great food in a low-key environment. The best all-inclusive resort we've been to so far.

The rooms and staff are amazing. The food is extremely hit or miss. Either it's 100% wonderful or absolutely terrible.

Went here last year. The staff the the Best this place has to offer (hint: do not let go of your staff) the food was mediocre "average". This place is kind of boring for kids or for a younger crowd but, in their defense this resort is good adult getaway with your partner

Absolutely love this place. Have been coming back here for almost 10 years. Spa is amazing, staff is fantastic. Beach? Don't come here if you are looking for white sandy beach. Not here. Food? Hit or miss. We keep coming back here because of convenience (20 minutes from airport in private car), staff friendliness, spa and gorgeous ocean front suites. So why 3 stars? One word: kids. It is not kids friendly resort, there is absolutely nothing for them to do here but some people choose to bring their kids. Little kids. And they get bored loud, jumping, screaming. Out of 10 times that we were here it happened 2-3 times. We here now and it feels like a kindergarten outing. Including a few months old baby crying by the pool. I understand that this is not adults only and it's a shame as it will make a difference for our future bookings.

Hello everyone! My husband and I stayed 4 days in zoetry resort. I really enjoyed beautiful environment and amazing natural . I did not like a beach . , very small and a lot of seaweed. i have been in many places , but this beach I did not enjoy. Room was gorgeous with ocean view and private pool ( but our private pool I little bit disappointed - not heated and no filter) - no reason pay for your private pool and never use it because it was cold one !
I really like the atmosphere but resort has only 3 restaurants ( one of them was closed every night) and 4 days did not change the menu. Food is really good , healthy and delicious! But could be good if they change a menu at lease for breakfast .
Resort is very very very very quiet! I mean I like a good and quiet atmosphere, but not more than 4-5 days . No entertainment or even quiet music at bar. at least they could have a nice romantic music at bar . or evening time for diner .
Service was excellent!!! People extremely nice , freindly and helpful !
Resort is far away from anything , if you want to go out you have to take a car for 40-55 min .
Thank you so much for everything.

The food ranking is not accurate, if you are looking for a very slow paced, very quiet place, and you are between the ages 40-90 you may love this place.

Before we could even get settled, the staff was trying to get us to spend more money, the staff was hesistant to let us swim because the pool closed at 7:30 and it was 7pm. There was so very little to do period and to make it worse, the staff continue "pitch" us and tried to add additional costs. The water staff was not friendly, the complimentary boat ride was overbooked so we had to spend time, waiting to see if there was a no show, I told them I had experience with a hobies cat but they were still really hesistant to let me use it. I came for a relaxing time but it was really annoying that the wifi was so poor and the staff couldn't offer us opperrunities to do while on the resort without looking for more money. The main office was not good with having money available to break money for tip. The ants in our room were really bad, we had to bus our own roomservice dishes so that we wouldn't get ants in our room, I understand that there is not a lot to do about that except potentially placing something in each room where the dishes can be placed safely.

My wife has a allergy and when we arrived, we were greated by a bunch of staff communicating that they were going to look out for us, that was awesome and we really appreciated that.

This place is beautiful and secluded, perfect for relaxation. Only gripe? we did have to continue to ask for things we were supposed to receive as part of our honeymoon package, but I'd go back in a heartbeat!

So my boyfriend and I loved Zoetry until the second to last day. It was the Mexican Independence day outdoor dinner and resort staff Daniella told my boyfriend and I we must buy a bottle to sit down we asked in Spanish and English twice to herwe did not want to buy a bottle we paid for an all inclusive because we didn't want to buy any bottles if not we would've rented a villa no problem we did that in Thailand but I didn't want to do that in this vacation. The thing that really bothered me was how it was handled once I sat down I noticed many other couples didn't buy bottles and one of our friends their for their honeymoon said they didn't buy one either! Their was no paper or fine print that said we needed to buy anything so why must we be penalized for her mistake. We asked another male staff who told us we didn't have to buy it to enjoy the showwe then asked to speak to someone and the manager of Canoa came to our table we drank less than half of the bottle which I told him the only reason we bought it was because we wanted to see the show he said he wasn't sure of what happened and instead of calling Daniella to come sort things out with us he only gave us 20% off the bottle which I said I didn't even want. He then asked if we wanted it sent to the room after seeing how upset we were I said no and he corked it and I know he probably used it to sample it laterI worked in a wine company I know the deal. I am by no means cheapwe had a beautiful room Ghana and didn't mind spending but what upset me is how this was handled it ruined the last 2 days and I loved all the employees by the pool especially Victor,Damian, and Cosme. But to trick us to buy a bottle when we said we just wanted to enjoy the night and not offering us the communal dining is not okay we spent enough money willingly for a nice vacation but to try and squeeze more deceitfully is where I draw the line before this happened I wanted to send my parents here as a surprise but I will be looking for other hotels with integrity to make things right when an employee misguided us in the first place.

We had a spectacular stay. The staff all seem to love their respective jobs. The service was truly legendary. The resort was beautiful designed to compliment the already gorgeous views of the ocean. You won't find a buffet here - all the food we ordered was delicately prepared, delicious, and presented with grace. We plan to return soon.
