  I love this hotel. Been going 40 years. Old charm. Huge rooms with great service. Dock across street. For going on dive. Great courtyards.

  Older hotel catering to divers. Rustic rooms, very basic. If you just want a bed and shower in a location convenient to several dive operations this will serve. Nice garden courtyard. Small bar and grill on the grounds. Small but clean freshwater pool. Tepid "hot" pool. Tennis courts.

  Arrival/Welcome: Average.
  Room: Does the job. Pretty old, could use some updating.
  Amenities: Great pool area.
  Restaurant: Great options, friendly service.
  Location: Good for divers since it is between downtown and the marina. 40 min walk to downtown, so definitely not good if you're not diving.
  Others: Very quiet. Weak wifi.

  Clean, comfortable, and really pretty grounds. George and the rest of his staff are fabulous. Arturo, is your host at the restaurant, and he's a great source of information on local culture, not to mention an excellent raconteur.
