Casa Dorada is located on Medano Beach Cabo San Lucas. With an amazing view of the beach you can reax by the pool or head over to the Salt Water Spa for a little pampering. Just a short walk from the Marina, Casa Dorada is a great hotel to visit!

Staff was incredible. Long walk from our room to get anywhere and the route to get to the beach through the pool area feels like you are on a tour every single time, but the area is nice and the staff really make up for any inconveniences. I really hate being solicited the entire day on the beach which is why I removed a star. It is nice that you can go in the ocean on this beach, but the vendors will wear you out all day, every day.

The resort is beautiful. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was as described. However they should not overwhelm guests with soliciting for excursions and extra activities. It's off-putting. Be prepared to replace your key a lot. They demagnetize very easily. It would be a good idea if the improved the system they use.

Still a favorite. Another great visit.
I did complain management about the heavy drug pushing Medando beach. The guys selling cigars. They were really pushing hard drugs about every 20 yards and openly show them. One even asked if we want some for our kids.
This is not Casa Dorada's fault but a problem for All Resorts along Medando beach.response / report this review -

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them at HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Beautiful resort right on the beach. Also has a private beach where people will bring you things. I'd totally give this 5 stars if it wasn't for them trying to bribe us into spending $20,000 (USD) to buy into a time share. When we declined, they actually got angry with us. It wasn't a pleasant experience. But they did give us a couple hundred dollars of free stuff (food, massage, discounted activities) in exchange for sitting through the 90 minute sales pitch. That's a lot of negative words but I do really want to emphasize that overall, it was a really excellent place! The food was good. The pools were amazing. There's even a bar in one of the pools. Highly recommended, just be prepared for the sales pitch if they offer it to you.response / report this review -

Service was perfect, very accommodating staff. Rooms were comfortable, clean and easy to access. Beach was top notch. All restaurants on the property were very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians.

Gorgeous resort with its own beach and multiple restaurants onsite. No need to leave this property. Swim up bar will give you a free WiFi passcode.

Amazing resort with great amenities and location. The staff was helpful, well-spoken and very kind. The lifeguard Luis is amazing, he watched our for our kids and performed his duties as well as any lifeguard, I've come across in the world. The only down fall is, if you are a first time visitor you will be asked to attend a seminar regarding their "travel club". This can be time consuming and annoying if you decline their offers. Other than that, the resort is clean, the rooms are large and scene is beautiful.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious with everything you might need, hair dryer, iron, plenty of closet space and very clean. The staff is incredible nice and go out of their way to help as much as possible. It took some time to figure out the layout of the resort but once I did it was very easy.response / report this review -

We were waiting for a presentation guide for a while and ended up waiting for nothing because of a lack of presenters. We were compensated for our time being wasted with a day pass, which was good. The resort has a private beach which was nice. Their pools were fairly limited in number but they had lots of other entertainment available by the pool.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious with everything you might need, hair dryer, iron, plenty of closet space and very clean. The staff is incredible nice and go out of their way to help as much as possible. It took some time to figure out the layout of the resort but once I did it was very easy.

This post is not about staying at the resort, but about being taken by them at the airport and about the time they will waste, your time, trying to sell you timeshares. From the time you arrive it is a hard press time share sales job, They will charge you double for the taxi ride to the resort promising to return the money after your stay. That money is lost, and costs you a lot more than that in the endless attempts to "give you a free breakfast". Go anywhere but this place, plenty of other places that will charge you a fair price and not ruin your vacation. Update, stayed at villa estancia this time, just a short walk up the beach, to compare, estancia is a better location, better staff, better villas, all around better place than Dorada.

Location, location and location! Medano beach, all parties are here. Great view, one bedroom luxury suites, full kitchen, all activities on the beach. Celebrating my Birthday here and feel awesome!

Checked in and were upgraded to a larger room, probably due to availability. We were concerned that the noise from the mango deco would be too much so asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel which they did with no hassle. ALso ended up with a better view. Staff were very nice and a few remembered our names quickly. A few things under construction while we were there but they were preparing for the busy season and cant fault them for that. Great location on medano beach.
