Hacienda property, staff, food, drink, general hospitality, rooms, cleanliness, facilities, safety, beach views/access, everything. simply a pure delight for which I would give 10 stars on a 5 star rating if I could.
Now for the only piece that isn't perfection, but is in no way a reflection of the property itself. It's the college crowd partying related stuff that's just a fact of life for any popular, warm/beach destination like Cabo - especially during the peak of spring break - which is when we were there. Even then, because Hacienda isn't a college kid/spring break crowd type of property, we didn't run into any such issues on property.
Cabo itself is fantastic, and even during spring break, it's got a lot of great restaurants and bars that aren't doing the whole keg stand, shot-chugging, booze cruise thing. But especially if you want to be anywhere near town/marina - and especially if you want to be able to walk to/from - AND be on the beach, then you're going to hear the thumping bar scene from SOMEwhere. So we could definitely hear The Office from further up Medano Beach in the evening. However, kudos to them for only getting loud (at least when we were there) on Fri & Sat. nights. And even then, it got quiet at 10:00 I think I heard one of the Hacienda staff say something about a noise level ordinance for that part of the beach, but not certain.
And again, we were there during the craziest of weeks, so I have no idea what it's like the rest of the year. But at least from mid-March to mid-April, if you like to sit on your veranda watching the ocean in total peace and quiet all evening - even on weekends - and be in bed before 10PM, I'm not sure if/where off the beaten path you'll be able to go. But if you want one of the best beach properties in all of Cabo, I can't say enough about this one.response / report this review -

By far the best meal we had in Cabo. With a group of picky eaters and we found find nothing wrong with anything at the Hacienda.

A must visit if you are looking for a more formal dinner. There was a music duo that played during our meal that played acoustic covers on classical instruments (I think a cello and violin) who covered all the top hits. Again, not much bad I can say about this place. Make a reservation on OpenTable or over the phone as with all the resorts in Cabo, you will be denied entry if you are not on the LIST.response / report this review -

Stayed there for a week and had a wonderful time, pool, hot tub, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, ping pong, foosball, gym, and a lot more entertaining activities to do. We always had something to do and were always occupied and happy. my only complaint is the price for food at the hotel, 1 burger, 2 hotdogs, 3 fries, 1 drink=$90. Very expensive. A meal like that should only be $30. (Max)

I was actually at the connecting resort that is literally on the same grounds, the Sheraton Grand but both are essentially the same with a different name I believe. The quality of the restaurants were for sure the same as I was able to vist multiple at both resorts. I also looked into some of the rooms with wide open French doors and saw the similarities. It was obvious why these resorts were rated 4 and a half stars.response / report this review -

Great resort. Everybody on the staff was efficient n helpful. Never had to ask for anything. Restaurant was grand. Food was delicious and very tasty. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great view of the Sea of Cortez from our room. Beach was fabulous. Pool was super. Great job again

Beautiful bar and restaurant with incredible views. However you get what you pay for high quality at high USA prices. Lunch for 4 people with 2 rounds of drinks was over $150 US. Too pricey to go back often.

I stayed in one if the residences near the North gate and it was spacious, clean, and exquisite. The room was well-cleaned and the rooms and bathrooms were definitely well kept. The room had a balcony facing the beach and it was truly beautiful. We were also able to see a private pool from the balcony, which was pretty. The service was absolutely amazing. All the hotel workers were attentive, kind, willing to help, and courteous. They always greeted us with a kind hello and smile.

Hacienda Beach Club is a one of a kind in the Cabo area. It has the best location on the best beach. Everything about the Hacienda exudes luxury from the beautiful well appointed condos to the stunning pools and views to the restaurant and bars to the fitness center and spa. It will not disappoint even the most discriminating traveler!

Awesome beach view from the hacienda restaurant. Service is great. Food was tasty. We ordered the Mexican pasta and the arrachera taco, and both werr fantastic!
