I ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed the meal. They had Italian and Mexican food. I opted for Mexican.

This place is really quite nice. I had some complaints with the room, however the hotel accomdated everything. It's in the heart of the town and a great getaway stay location in Playa Del Carmen.

They will scam you by giving you a mediocre room in their two star sister hotel down the street. The towels are old and smelly. The service is poor.

They messed up my booking they ended up being over booked, they couldn't accommodate me and sent me to a neighbor hotel. Staff here was kinda dry, rude and unapologetic.

. The hotel is set on the busiest street in Playa del Carmen; restaurants, bars, and stores left and right. To our surprise, the hotel rooms are very quiet. On the downside, the hotel website said they offered complimentary breakfast and cable tv, which was a complete lie. Never the less, the rooms are always clean, and the workers all very nice.

Stayed here for a week's getaway in February. This place was cozy and was just what I needed for being a solo traveler. Staff was friendly and room was clean. The only issue I had was having guests over. The front desk was not pleased that people not on my reservation visited me. Other than that, the location was great.

We love Playa Del Carmen, we always stayed in all inclusive hotel, but we wanted a different experience. Last September we decided to change our plans and booked the trip for Hotel Posada Mariposa.

We love his small hotel, it is so cozy and clean and the employees are very nice. As a matter of fact we liked it so much, that we just booked another trip at the end of this month.

From now on we will always stay at Hotel Posada Mariposa.
