Personally, a resort needs a swim-up bar. I'm sure the main pool could be retrofitted for a swim up bar in the middle where currently there are shrubs. Also, the food was okay most nights, but some more variety would be appreciated. If the teens had a club or some other activities to partake in, that would also be appreciated. Overall, the experience was positive, but there is room for improvement.

Enjoyed every night of my first experience in Mexico. Alejandro and the whole entertainment team provided nonstop fun every day of the week. Alfredo, Jesus, and the rest of the bar staff were very attentive and engaging throughout our stay. The resort provides plenty of water equipment available for rental daily. Sunscape Sabor is the perfect spot for those who like to scuba dive! We had one issue with our sink, which was fixed immediately. The staff were very helpful and very friendly! Highly recommended!

Some areas of this hotel is in need of a few renovations but is very clean and well maintained. The water pressure in the room went from good to poor as the week went on. The staff are very hard working and very friendly. We saw that they are happy to be working there. I would recommend this place for its food, entertainement crew, and service. There is no pool side bar service, the beach front is a little rough getting in even with aquatic shoes due to the abundance of rocks in the water. Towels for the beach and pool are scarce, but are refilled whenever possible. They have 2 pools and we think they should dedicate 1 of the pools for adults only so as to be able to rest without getting splashed or have to hear kids playing loudly in the water. All in all, it wasn't perfect, but we had a great time!

This resort is available for access to guests staying at Secrets Aura Cozumel. It's almost as if they were all one resort. Secrets is for adults only and Sabor is for all ages.

Both offer an all-conclusive stay. Sometimes the food is nice. And sometimes it seems like it's just warmed up frozen stuff. Often you'll find good fresh grilled foods at different events. Still, it's all good.

The wait staff have been really helpful and want the guests to be happy.

Love this place. The beach is a little rocky, which is excellent for snorkeling, not so great for wading through the water. Sign out a Hobie Cat for sailing fun. If you don't know how to sail, staff will teach you the basics. Clean pools, good food, outstanding staff. Bring water shoes, sun screen, and insect repellent.

Very beautiful resort. They have a lot of extras included. You can rent water equipment for the day to go out on the water, snorkeling. They also offer a number of excursions for ex/ boat tours/fishing. They also have jeep rentals on the facility so that you can take a jeep out for the day. They have several great restaurants. For Breakfast each restaurant has a breakfast buffet with so many great fresh options along with breakfast drinks. There is a pizza place(Although the staff in the pizza place was pretty much always less than pleasant, you can hear them talking about you when you walk in assuming since we were white we don't speak Spanish) that you can create your own pizza and eat there or take it to your room and the pizza is great! There is also a bar/grill serving American eats by the pool for lunch. For dinner you typically need to make a reservation because the dinner restaurants are AMAZING. Our favorite was El patio, their food was one of a kind. There are a variety of activities and shows on the weekend as well. They also have a gym in case you want to work out on vacation. There are 4-5 different bar areas, one of which is in air conditioning and has sofas, another has bar swings which were so much fun. All around not a bad resort, not the highest class but for what you pay it's well worth the money!

Nice family hotel. It was a Wyndham that was converted about 6-8 years ago. Nice layout with some good entertainment. Nice swing chairs at the beach bar. Friendly staff.

Resort was nice enough room ac worked great however it would have been nice if the room had a comfortable chair so you did not have to sit on the bed. Meal's got very boring. Breakfast buffet was the same every morning. Dinner had little flavor or variety. Best place to dine in Cozumel is Pepes. Ate at Pepes twice due to below average dinner choices.

We were in room 2012. Definitely not my favorite place. The rooms are very dated. The staff is very nice and the grounds outside are beautiful, but the rooms desperately need some renovations. The window in the bathroom would not close so we put towels in front of it to keep the humidity out. There is a pretty big gap under the front door so we used a beach towel to plug that up. The mirror needs to be replaced, it has areas were the mirror is worn off and the wall is pealing on the side of the sink.

It's located near the south end of the island and close to some amazing diving spots. The dive shop on site did a great job and were super nice. There wasn't a ton of variety at the restaurants most of the time they were buffets with the same stuff as the lunch buffet. The rooms were nice but it always seemed like something wasn't done during cleaning. Most of the time it was that they didn't leave any towels. We also had a problem with the keeping the mini fridge stocked. It happened to us and others that the cleaner was drinking the beer out of the mini fridge.

Very beautiful place but failed to meet my expectations. The first room we had was near the pool area and "Extremely" noisy. The tile floors in the room left dirt on the bottom's of your feet. We moved rooms and the second room was cleaner, however in both rooms the closet doors did not want to open and the dresser drawers were always stuck. We had to almost beg to get our in room fridge refilled each day, often it was not done till well after 3 or 4 PM.

The food was hit and miss and not consistent. The hamburgers at the Seaside grill seemed like they had little beef and lots of filler. Wait staff was also hit and miss. Some were great, wereas others seemed to heavily hint for tips.

Bar staff was great and drinks were good. Pools we wonderful.

First I have to disclose that I didn't stay at Sunscape, but I did book there and then had to cancel due to what I'm about to explain. My wife and I are avid divers and have been to Cozumel many times. This time however is our first time bringing our 6-year-old son. As a consequence, we were looking for a resort with a dive center, but most important, one with a Kids Club for our son for when we would be on a boat. We were recommended Sunscape by our travel agent friend as their Kids club is highly rated. We figured that we could always bring in an outside dive shop to pick us up if we didn't like the one at the resort. Well thank God 2 weeks before our trip we ran into a Sunscape representative at a diving convention, because it turns out, THEY WILL NOT ALLOW A KID IN THE KIDS CLUB UNLESS A PARENT IS ON THE RESORT CAMPUS! Which meant that we couldn't dive together! NOWHERE on their website or in anything we received from them was this policy stated! Regardless, we had to fight with them for nearly a week before they finally allowed us out of our reservation without a penalty. HUGE disappointment as we were really looking forwards to staying there. They did offer the opportunity though to hire a "babysitter" to watch him while he was already being watched in the kids club (?!?!), and of course for some ridiculous extra fee. BOO!

Me and my wife with 16 friends were there march 11 -18 had the time of my life. Great food great drinks clean rooms great hospitality. What i liked the most is that everyone that worked there plus everyone we ran into on our island tour treated us like family,this is my home away from home i will be back every year for years to come. I guess my experience wasn't directly about the Hotel itself. But the promoters outside. They tell you things that at the end are not true. What they want is to sell you plans, time shares, etc. They make you waste your time. We lost one full day doing nothing talking with people after people. We talked around 9 persons and many of them ask the very same questions. They are behind you to be sure you dont "take advantage" before you buy something. They kill the sell and I just don't want to go there and would never recommend this place. They should be aware of the type of promoters they have outside.

Nice resort as expected. Clean and well staffed. Best beach on the island. I was surprised that the food was so good. Portofino's was a really good restaurant. Jorge was an excellent server and presenter. Never had to wait long for drinks. (well staffed)
