No frills hotel located close to the beach. Don't expect much in terms of amenities but the location can't be beat. The price was great. I'd recommend this hotel.

The Casa Melissa is a small clean hotel
We have stayed here for almost 10 days. The air conditioning works welĺ, so does the hot water and we get a big bottle of water each day when they make up our room. The location is excellent with every amenity near by and the pool is cool and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful too. We will stay here again for sure.

Friendly, clean, reasonably priced, less than 50 paces from the beach, 5th ave, and evening performances in the park. The staff speak better English than my Spanish, so English was used for this stay.

Great location, affordable pricing, does the job! Only downside is the empty, piece of land in between the hotel and the ocean. It's an eyesore!

Just like if i had a home in playa del carmen !! I go there every time ! Friendly , clean , affordable , nice rooms , right by the beach and a nice park with playground, right on 5ft avenue.

Hotel Casa Melissa is a hidden jewel of a hotel in Playa del Carmen. Not only is the location great (right near 5th Avenue) but also great price compared to other hotels and offers a great value for all they offer (pool, wifi, air conditioned rooms, 24 hours service). Highly recommend especially if on a tight budget.

We stayed here for a week last month. The location was fantastic. We had a room looking over the pool, facing the ocean. Nice size balcony. The hotel is staffed 24 hrs. Clean room and GREAT prices. We paid $91/nt for a spacious Junior Suite at the end of February. That included tax. Of course, the peso was 21.5 to the dollar then..

Nice and clean. A great price with a superb location just by the beach and two minutes from the ferry to Cozumel. Friendly staff and a small pool to cool down in.

Clean and affordable hotel in the center of Playa del Carmen. All rooms have ocean view. This place is a great alternative for all visitors staying in Playa del Carmen to enjoy the nightlife and spend the next day at the beach.
