About 3 weeks ago we went for our nephew's wedding that took place in the Hotel's beach. We stayed for one week. I am very thankful to God for everything we experienced in our stay there. The service was great, every employee in the restaurants, bar, room service, reception, transportation within the hotel were very polite, respectful, ready to meet our requests and even going an extra mile to be sure we were satisfied with their service.
The Hotel's Manager was always doing everything to make sure we were enjoying our staying there.
Never experienced any bad attitude from any employee there. My perception is that the manager has a very good relationship with all his employees. God blessresponse / report this review -

After a rocky start they have been the most helpful most awesome bunch of people. Chef Vargas the best chef I have seen yet. Everyone took care of us like royalty. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is a nightmare! Old nothing works, plumbing, electric, that means no Wi-Fi or AC. Can't get in your room. The staff won't pick up the phone. When you do confront them they just play games and say they just work here. Food is horrible, beach is rocks. I caught a security guy peeping in a room early in the morning. They seem to be sustaining themselves by bringing in poor Eastern European tourist groups. I would not wish this nightmare on my enemy. One day the water did work, I got a cold trickle. Food is low grade dog chow. Place is huge and have to walk 10-15 minutes anywhere you go. Hell on earth

I had a bad experience at this hotel to start the facilities are old, the rooms are not comfortable and I had not hot water during whole instance there.
They even tried to steal my room with my family inside at night.
I put my complaint with the manager but I did not have a good answer about my problem.
The food does not taste good even though they want to offer Mexican dishes but in reality it does not look like a true Mexican dish. Seafood on the beach I do not recommend if service is poor compared to the other clubs that are on the side.
Personally I do not recommend it since it is expensive because of the service they offer.response / report this review -

Horrible service , food is garbage , all house liquor , dirty rooms , you can't even get in the water at the private beach because it's nothing but rock , WORST RESORT IVE EVER STAYED AT.

The reception desk and bell boys were nice and helpful but the place was horrible and there is only so much they can do. It looks like it was an abandoned hotel past its prime that had an attempted revival. The place has spots here and there that are clearly still abandoned and are covered with tarps. Found like 5 4" spiders in balcony with spider webs that look like they have been there for weeks. Mosquitos eat you alive. Horrible pool. Dusted the whole place when I turned on the fan (they didn't clean the top) Room service food tastes horrible. Everything is far from each other and resort shuttle service is space. The employees looked like they knew the place was horrible. I mentioned my issues and there was no surprise on their faces. I would never come here again. The hot tubs in the middle of the room was funky but nice.

I really likes the place. A lo of good views in the cenotes. Having a nice drink at the pisicina-bar. I really good place to spend vacaciones with your couple.

Affordable, unique and very nice staff. Nice place to stay for vacation, not your usual hotel and hotel rooms. Quiet and very much away from louder, busiest places.

Awful place! They went into our room and stole from our locked safe!! So beware, this place needs to be shut down! Most disappointing place I've ever been to! Save yourself and go some place else!

The resort is beautiful, but needs lots of maintenance. Hot water is great, drinking water is very accessible. Staff is friendly and welcoming but many of the staff have a hard time with English. Rooms are rustic but pleasant. Food is average. I would suggest better bar tending training, since the drinks are hit or miss. The beach is tiny and rocky, but the resort has a shuttle to take guests to a better beach. The adult pool is nice. The kids pool area has a section of it that has stagnant water but overall looks like a lot of fun.

The hotel needs maintenance on the infrastructure. There is a Lot of a deterioration in the rooms. I paid "all inclusive" and it is assumed that I can consume foods and drinks with out restrictions, however is necessary that each guest registers at the entrance of the each restaurant and signs the consumption ticket. In the hotel there are 3 jaguars and 2 chimpanzees wich live in poor conditions due to the limited space. I do not recommnd this hotel, as for the cost, there are better options on the riviera maya.

We were here in April 2013. We had a good time here. There is an on-site zoo that you walk through or take a golf cart down to get to the pools or restaurant. There is a beach on site that got washed away years ago so very rocky. You can take a free shuttle to a separate beach area they rent out. They have some lunch food and drinks for free from the resort. Food quality was sub par with little selection. The sushi restaurant was amazing. The package we had came with a romantic dinner by the cenote. Large rooms with a large tub and separate shower. A little musty smelling. A big patio with a hammock made you feel like you were in the middle of the jungle. Great time
