Clean and simple. Hot water in the shower, good wifi, real friendly staff. Dive with the great guys at Marine World. Everything you need right on location. Love the staff.

Its a nice place.. rooms could be nicer and beds are extremely hard. But the rest of the place is very nice. Not much parking.. they will exchange dollars for pasos for free. Internet is free but very slow.

Nice to find little gem nice pool and hot tub great views of the ocean, high enough you don't even notice the Melgar traffic. Grounds are very well maintained. Staff polite and professional, meals and drinks as good as most, cheaper than many.

This is a basic hotel. Great price for a room and good base while in Cozumel enjoying the sun and fun. The staff is great, the food is okay and the rooms are clean. It tends to cater to dive groups or divers more than anything else. I've stayed here over a dozen times over the last 15 years.

It is a charming hotel-resort, near the west coast of Cozumel island. It is not connected to a beach but a bridge connects the lido with a sidewalk lining the coast. A lot of bars, cafes, diving clubs, rentals etc can be found along that road. There are some nearby beaches, part of other hotels/resorts, but a true beaches are on the east side of the island, facing the open ocean.
Casa del Mar has it's own parking and driveway. A lot pf amenities, including wifi. There are sport courts and gym.
The place is tucked in tropical flora, with a contemporary and rustic style, themed by traditional Mexican style of architecture.
Ot is a quiet and charming place, nicely connected to the main road. You might leave with few remarks but only if you were looking for something exquisite at the first place.response / report this review -

Good place, great location. Would totally recommend the dive place. The hotel is pretty good place too. Recommend asking for a mattress pad right away the didn't know mattress cold be so hard.

I love the food here and the staff are excellent and accommodating! This hotel is a great value! The grouper is some of the best in the island and try the coconut ice cream, if you like coconut!!

Restaurant staff is terrible and very unattentive. On multiple occasions, food was served cold, we were left waiting at our table half an hour for menus, and waiters were constantly joking around with one another in front of customers. Beds are very hard and not too comfortable to sleep on, and wifi reception is terrible as well! Also, on the website it says Casa Del Mar provides a gym but that is an incorrect fact. I came here with a group, not knowing what I was getting into, but if it were up to me I would not return.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around
The staff at Casa del Mar were very nice, friendly and helpful, the grounds around the place were quite lush, nice pathways throughout. The room was all tile, a bit stark, the AC worked well. The shower had good water pressure and hot water although the toilet would never fully flush and took a long time to refill and try again. There is a beach right across the street and a dive shop and boat dock too. Shore diving with easy entry and exit. There are not many places to eat within an easy walking distance, we rented a car to explore and found lots of good eating inland. Here's a tip, if the menu is in US dollars, go somewhere else, avoid places on the coast road, head inland and check google reviews, we found the best places away from the tourist areas. Avoid Ernesto's Jeep rental, take a taxi to the airport and get a car for 1/3 the price.response / report this review -

This hotel has its own spot near the beach that allows you to get into the water. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are nice and cultural.

The Casa del Mar is a nice motel with a friendly staff. Some nights there is noise from a fireworks show at the nearby cruise ship dock. We ate at the Casa del Mar restaurant for breakfast and supper. The grilled fish, ceviche, and flank steak are excellent. The restaurant is located in a ramada allowing a nice breeze.

Nice grounds,rooms noisy at night and a.m., crowded and congested area with cruise ships unloading nearby,pool service spotty, Nachi cocom beach club with superior room has nice beach but slow and indifferent service. Hotel Maybe better for divers. Liked Ernesto's across street for breakfast and scooter rental.
