Very noisy due to restaurant that in the lobby. Restaurant closes at 11 PM yet there is always a radio, banging, something going at all hours.
No phones in the rooms make it difficult to contact hotel staff. Calling them directly from your cellphone is a 50/50 shot as well. Good location but there are several other options in the area I would attempt prior to staying here.

It's not the best place to stay but at least it's cheap.

This is a small but satisfying hotel. It's located on 5th in the heart of many restaurants with bars, touristy stores and a short taxi ride or 10 to 15 minute walk from other tourist locations. Best of all you are just outside of where the locals eat and gather. The food is cheaper and better there by far. #StreetFood
Us Yucatek divers as a reference point to locate this area.

The only issue that I have is that the hotel appears to have been built with a courtyard in it where the rooms over look it. Remember that this is a very small hotel. Now a popular upscale restaurant takes up the courtyard and closed after 12 or 1am. The noise from the restaurant is very very loud and is a constant annoyance. They should at least give you a free dinner there for a three night stay to compensate you for the constant noise.

The internet goes in and out and was out for three of the four days that I stayed there without compensation.

The room was medium size, very clean and comfortable. I will be returning. Make sure that you get a cylinder lock for the safe upon checking in. It will cost you $50 when you check out because the paperwork will indicate that you received it.

The worst hotel in the world, and the girl in the front desk doesn't help you

I really enjoyed my stay at Unic. Can be loud with bands playing on the street at times, but not too bad. Nice rooms, that have a clean feel to them. Loved chillin on the second floor balcony watching the busyness of 5 Avenida.

The hotel is good. The workers are always very kind. The bad thing is that the rooms are a bit small, but they're comfortable and cosy.

Very noisy rooms, till 1 AM you will constantly hear music and people chatting in the restaurant below and in the morning you will be woken up by the construction noice of the house on the side , the double rooms are very small. No balconies and you will feel claustrophobic.

Not worth staying. If it's the cheapest accommodation available better to put some more money and stay somewhere else.

One of the best "Hacienda's" I have ever stayed at. For sure will come back, the rooms are a little small, but there are vines from the ceiling, it is a very cozy and amazing place to stay. It has a very nice sitting area overlooking the city life and a pasta restaurant on the ground floor on the street.
