Everything was so good. I have absolutely no complaints. It was a large resort so you had to do alot of walking which was really nice. Had no problem finding something to eat there were tons of options. It was always easy to find a bar if you needed. I would easily go back again.

The resort itself is beautiful and very well run. The food was amazing and the natural setting was beautiful! You could find wild life throughout the resort and our children always had something to keep them busy. Although, Mother Nature was not so kind The beach was full of seaweed every morning. The resort staff worked tirelessly trying to clean it up.

Potential for excellence but fell short, by a long, long shot at every turn. It was our Anniversary, no gift basket, no promised room upgrade because the VIP agent was too busy to get back to us. Towel huts close early (15 min before closing time) and they charge you for towels not returned. Very unclean grounds. No manager on duty at night. Travel services sold us wrong package and left us hanging on our anniversary. Management doesn’t have phone numbers for the travel agent , no help. It was just bad. Uncomfortable beds. Just disappointing all around.

My mom, sister and I recently visited. We were extremely extremely pleased with the beach area, the food and the service. Our room was very nice and up to date. The cleanliness of the resort was fabulous. Our concierge, Guedellrmo, was more than helpful. We took all of his advice and it was spot on. There were a few activities on the resort that we did not get to do because of the red flag and the strong winds. I would definitely return. We visited the Mexican restaurant and it was just OK. That was the only restaurant we were able to visit during our stay. The buffet had very good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Had a wonderful time at Grand Sirenis for our friends wedding. Staff were fantastic on the night and we constantly had drinks in hand!
Our favourite spot ended up being the sky bar and Elvina was our hostess who was always there for us with drinks and a smile!
Lazy river is fantastic and we spent lots of time by the pool, too much seaweed in the sea for my liking but that's not their fault really.
The food was good but not the best we've ever had to be honest, tends to be the same things all the time and my partner was pretty fed up with it all by the end of the week and if you want to eat in the proper restaurants you're best booking all of them the second you arrive with your concierge as they get booked up too fast and then you're stuck woth the buffet only.
They were really good and fumigated our room when I asked as there was mossies in there and I didn't want to get bitten in my sleep.
Was a great holiday and my first visit to an all inclusive, plenty to do and the entertainment staff were always on hand to keep you busy!

This is my second time at the resort. The only downgrade is lack of premium liquor. Most of the time bartenders were hiding better liquor under the counter (lol)!
Food is delicious, rooms are contemporary and spacious, excellent maid service and service in general. Solid 4.5 stars.

Good choices for food something for all tastes even the fussy eaters such as myself. Staff are polite and helpful. Weather has been really good apart from one day but even that wasn't too bad showers pass really quickly. Lots of wildlife to been seen around the resort.

Service was okay and the food for decent for a resort of that size. It's difficult to find simple things like water, probably an issue at most large all inclusive resorts. The beach is beautiful and they have lots of chairs and prepare everything nicely each day. I wish the boats wouldn't park in front of the beach though as they take up a large amount of space.
The room cleaning staff were excellent and very flexible.
Noise travels very easily up and down the hallways at night so I suggest bringing ear plugs to sleep.
Beware of the spa and ensure you get them to give you the full price before you agree to any kind of service.

Every thing about this hotel is great food, that much to choose from if your not happy you never will be. Great surroundings, gardens, wild life, pool or beach you choose, lively pools or quite pools great beach area plenty Of beds I mean plenty don't have to get up early to put towels out. Free clean towels every day.great entertainment shows at night pool games, you want it it's here. It's a big complex but once you find your way it's only a short enjoyable walk to anywhere. Great staff clean rooms . Did not upgrade,Thompson wanted 750 pounds for three weeks upgrade half that when your here , save your money rooms are fine.been here two weeks one week to go wish it could be longer. By the way I'm 72 and can get around ok if you're not so mobile there's little shuttle service that will pick you up and take you were you want to go. Could go on and on and most probably am but won't give it all away .enyoy.

My husband son and myself traveled here for a week from August 31st to September 7th and we really enjoyed our stay! My only complaints are the resort is huge which makes getting around difficult for people who have disabilities and pain but at the same time it is disability friendly and the staff are constantly driving around the resorts and they will give you a ride to where you need to go on their golf cart shuttles which is a really good thing! And at night there were allot of sand fleas & mosquitoes which made things difficult so next time we will go in the winter or spring so the humidity won't be as bad & neither will the bugs. Now when we arrived at the hotel it was about 3 hours before Check in and we were really tired the hotel staff got us into our room faster so we didn't have to take a nap in their lobby! The staff were super friendly and helpful I'm a medical marijuana licensed patient and couldn't take my medical marijuana with me to Mexico & the staff easily and happily sent me to a local on the beach that was happy to help they even did the introduction to make it easier & as long as we kept our smoke discreet & private no one cared only draw back was it's $100 us for a quarter which is 7 grams in Mexico 7 grams is more like 4 & it's crappie weed but something was better than nothing! So the weed sucks! The food and drinks were awesome however there's different levels of "all inclusive" at this resort & if you're staying in the lower categories you only have access to a limited room service menu but either way their economy class service is still really awesome! All in all its a great place we really enjoyed the trip and we would love to go back again!

Me and my wife loved this resort. We will be returning for sure! The drinks and food we're sometimes a little less than great but there is so much more to this resort than the food and drinks. The atmosphere was great! The staff were always kind and helpful. Even the other guests were enjoyable company. Over all a great experience we can't wait to have again.

    1. Quality of sleep.
This hotel has occupancies shaped in a pyramidal form that are connected to each other with a walking path that is inside of buildings, sort of a walkway.
There are other ways around the buildings such as nicely done sort of the road for golf carts. The golf carts that are driving people around for some reason do not use the outside roads. What they do instead, Is using this walkway that is inside of all buildings. Now at night people are sleeping. But they don't care. they race through that walkway on their motorized golf carts waking everybody up. I talked to a lady at the front desk and told her that this should stop because I could not fall asleep. And then when I fall asleep I'm easily woken up by this rumbling noise inside the building. She said she would pass it on, but never did they guess because the racing continued non stop, at night. So I ended up sleep deprived for the whole duration of my vacation. I also talked to a few tourists around and they seem to have the same issue. They said they did talk to a front desk people about it but they did not seem to care. What makes the problem worse is that night cleanings shift don seem to care using radios, and scream and yell at each other which makes the noise problem even worse. So, I think that they really don't care about the people, who came here and voted with their dollars for this hotel.

    2. Maintenance.
This hotel is pretty poorly maintained. It's been built back in 2005 and I don't think that it hasn't been maintained since then. You can see patches of dirty plaster around, rusty pieces of metal, falling faucets, and poorly done kind of repair work. In my room The faucets kept failing and spraying water around, for example.
Just like I said, this reminds me very much of a failing Cuban hotel.
It's not definitely not a five-star luxury outfit.

    3. Rooms.
The toilets that are in the rooms are European standard. Which means, when you sit and do your big deals, your brown product sticks to the toilet. There is a thing to fight that. It's called a toilet bowl brush. No rooms in this hotel has a toilet bowl brush.

Hotel management.are you really THAT cheap???

The room is very poorly designed, I mean standard room. It has a very large opening in the wall that connect the room itself with the toilet and the area. It's a huge opening that is a partially covered was frosted glass. When you in the toilet or having a bath, everyone in the room can hear what you do, and can feel all the perfect smells that are coming out of the toilet. Did I say that the toilet has no exhaust fan? Oh I did not? Yep, there is no exhaust fan! In a "5 star" hotel!
    4. Bugs. There is a big problem with bugs. The resort is infested was mosquitoes. In the open areas you can use some sort of "Off" thing. But in the room there is nothing to fight the bugs with. I went and asked for some sort of a product in their shop, to fight mosquitoes. They don't have anything in stock. So when the room is cleaned the mosquitoes rush inside and feed on you when you sleep.
Hotel management. If you are aware of this problem why don't give people some sort of a product to get their rooms in shape before people go to sleep? Some sort of insecticide that plugs in and kill bugs Oh, you don't care? I guess
Sorry, you do care. Especially when you send a guy with a big bottle of poison that he sprays in the room while guests are in, and speak no word of English. That poison is not for mosquitoes.I forgot to sayit's for COCKROACHES. I mean HUGE ones.

BE VERY AWARE OF ALL YOUR FINANCES WHILE AT THIS RESORT!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND TRUST YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE CORRECT VALUE BECAUSE THAT WILL NOT BE THE CASE!!! While I cannot deny a beautiful resort, hard working people and friendly service, when it comes to finances they will take advantage of your financial status as best they can. I admit it, I do not know Pesos to US dollar conversions; they do and will make sure it works to their advantage! I should have seen the red flags from the time I checked in at the reception upon our arrival and there were 2 guests at the counter with issues with their bills. AT LEAST THEY WERE LUCKY THEY CAUGHT THE "ERRORS" IN TIME, WHILE THERE! My misfortune came when I checked out and what I considered a beautiful vacation turned into a financial nightmare when I came back to the States and realized I was significantly overcharged on my credit card. I am trying to dispute the charges through representatives of my credit card and while I gave the resort, the benefit of doubt on the overcharges (my charge that I was responsible for while at their souvenir store was for 876 PESOS and NOT 10 times as more as they transferred it on my bill at 8769 PESOS), the resort and their representatives would not release the itemized bill and how they got to a final total I was charged for and I AM DISPUTING!!! ALL I AM ASKING IS FOR RESPECT AND IF YOU ARE SURE YOU DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG AND THE CHARGES I AM DISPUTING ARE "MADE UP BY ME", PLEASE RELEASE THE ITEMIZED CHARGES THAT ADD TO THE TOTAL SUM I WAS CHARGED AND WHICH I AM DISPUTING!!!!! We all make mistakes and while I tried to reasonably work with the resort through my credit company representatives, to bring the error to their attention and correct the situation appropriately, they pretend they didn't do anything wrong. It just denies all the hard work that the rest of the team have on their shoulders at this resort because this is how guests lose trust in your services and unfortunately will not continue working with you. I AM ONE OF THOSE GUESTS, who unfortunately lost that trust and will not be back.

Its spread out, but that adds to the charm. Margaritas (on the rocks) are amazing. Room is spacious, and all the amenities are awesome. I like the place, and as my first visit to a resort it was nice, but i feel like it could have been better regarding the buffet.

The concierge was super pushy though. I was here as a member, and they tried getting us to see a presentation for 90 minutes. After we missed the appointment, it was rescheduled for noon, but we had a spa appointment at one. The concierge tells us that the spa is broken and that they can reschedule it for another day, just so we can watch a presentation instead. We just walked out and went to the spa, which was open. If you avoid all the concierges, i guess it would be a fun visit.

APPAULLING!! On arrival at resort we headed for the onsite beach.. It was mostly rock and shail. The sea was also full of large rocks. I can't tell you how disappointed we were with this. The beach is one of the main factors we look at when booking a holiday! After this the holiday went completely down hill!!
The service in restaurant was poor, we were offered coffee but when I asked for tea the waiters walked away. I say waiters as this happened everyday.
A staff member scrubbed the inside of the pool most days, whilst we swam.. There was one lifeguard to the five pools. We saw a man slip at the lazy river, resulting in a serious head injury. It was holiday makers who assisted him. Blood was still on the ground the following day. Plates/cups were left around the pool for hours. 24 hours one day! Loud offensive music was played around the pool not only by holiday makers but by the entertainment team. On arrival at the pool one day, we sat on the edge as it had been raining. Another guest came to warn us that a staff member had been out (prior to our arrival) and told everyone to stay away from the pool due to the thunder and lightening. Another day we were told to get out of the pool due to faeces being in there. Staff put chemicals in the pool and we were told not to go in for two hours. Again no warning signs were placed and staff disappeared leaving holiday makers to relay the message to others.
One evening my card to the room wouldn't work so I went to reception to get it re activated. I returned early to my room as I was unwell to find that it still didn't work. I used the phone of another guest to ring reception, who sent security to let me in. He then took his card, leaving me in the dark (the card was required to run electric). I protested against this but he said someone else would deal with it. Again I rang reception who said they would send someone over, however no one came. I was left in the dark for over an hour until my family returned. I complained the following morning to hotel staff and was told that a bottle of champagne would be left in my room. It never came..
My five year old son wet the bed twice. On the first occasion I informed the concierge who said it wasn't a problem. On the second I informed the maid directly. She then started to shout in Spanish to the concierge, pointing over to us. When I asked what the problem was I was told "when someone pisses the bed we have to get security in to take photos so that we can bill you". I was absolutely appalled by this, not to say embarrassed in front of the other holiday makers. My son was upset and slept restlessly for the duration of the holiday, worried that he may have another accident. On complaining to TUI rep Aiden he was just as appalled as me and said that they would cover the cost. I then put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door for the remainder of my stay, also telling the concierge that I didn't want my room cleaned, however the maid still went into my room and merely made the bed. Nothing else was cleaned and I felt that they were checking up on us. Again I complained to the hotel but nothing was done.
The mini bar was rarely topped up, we were told it would be done daily.
My 17 year old was told that she couldn't use the gym as she wasn't old enough.
On our final evening my husband sat in a chair that unbeknown to us had been just painted. He and his t-shirt were covered in it. We complained to Thomsons rep Laura (who didn't have an ounce of empathy), she told my husband that he had "sweated to much"! When I said that we had had enough of the hotel after the charging of the bedsheets, she abruptly stated "that has already been dealt with". My husband then had to change his t-shirt so that it could be washed by the hotel. The paint didn't come out. Again I complained to Aiden who said he would cover the £50 cost. He gave me 1000 peso, which I believe was around £40.

After writing the above I find it unbelievable and am astounded that you can sell this hotel as 5* and child friendly. It was anything but!
