Smoking allowed everywhere, breakfast is fine, other meals challenging. 'all in' offer available, you'll be treated like a paria when you use it.

This hotel looks great and was generally pleasant to stay at. We had some issues: reception being slow and disorganised, all the bathtubs had problems draining, the pool is too cold and about half of us had food poisoning which may have related to the tap water or food (it occurred before we ate anything in the town centre).
Enjoyed the shuttle bus service and hotel-organised day trip, but if you want to see Marrakech every day it's inconveniently far out.
Loved our waiter at breakfast who went out of his way to make our mornings better!response / report this review -

The hotel has amazing Moroccan interiors and beautiful rooms with big balconies. The pools are amazing just to walk around. There are so many rooms so make sure to memorize you room number and check your room card before going to the room. There are many resturants in the hotel with cuisines from all over the world.
The biggest disappointment is the quality of service. It is very difficult to reach anyone by phone and the time to send things to/from the room takes for ever. Our friends in other rooms had the same complaints. I would like to mention Kareema from guest relations that actually made things happen and she was very helpful (this should be the norm in a 5* hotel). Make sure to check the mattress and make sure they are aligned and not tilted to one side.response / report this review -

We chose this hotel for the Arabian & Moorish architecture and we were not disappointed. Beautiful buildings, lovely gardens and pool areas. Bedrooms were fine, wonderful views from balconies, but bathrooms appeared a little tired looking. No tea and coffee making facilities in bedrooms so be sure to pack your travel kettle. We stayed in October and the hotel was peaceful and uncrowded. All the staff were brilliant, helpful and courteous. A special big thank you to Youssef in the French Restaurant who was great fun and made our stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Worst customer service. Only came to the hotel use their pool with a view to scoping it out and potentially staying there next year. As soon as they saw a large group of English, they began whispering and pointing over to us. One then came over and told is they were fully booked at the pool today! We had seen the pool and there were approx 5 people at their pool. When we told them this, they said the huge booking wasn't coming until later (convenient!). The member of staff became quite angry aggressive, we spoke to his manager and he was exactly the same. Bit of customer service cost them 16 rooms booked next year.

Looks like a very nice place, but honestly the prime time is passed. Look at my picture. Very nice, but look closer and you see that portions have fallen off. So it was likely amazing when it was launched but maintenance didn't keep up. Still a very nice place though. A bit far from the City which is a nuance when all taxi rides require 10 minutes of haggling

Interesting resort hotel experience. Large, comfortable rooms are a feature, but are on the wrong side of the 21st Century and urgently need updating. Amenities are not luxurious, but not low end drugstore fare either and the Golf Course views (if you're into that kind of thing) are abundant. A few entertainment and shopping options are within the Resort (along with other sibling hotels, some of which look decidedly more luxurious). Conferencing facilities are above average and resort grounds are beautifully upkept and manicured. My customer service experience here was quite good and all in all, I enjoyed my stay.

I visited in the height of summer and Ramadan, so 'off peak', but, if anything, that suited.
The hotel location is peaceful, but with no more than 30 or so guests (at a guess), it really was a peaceful getaway. The layout of the vast swimming pool meant that even when busy, the pool area will never feel crowded - in or out of the water.
I booked a standard room, but this was spacious, with defined sleeping, sitting and bathroom areas. It felt like the 5-star hotel it is - which some often don't at the entry level room.
Due to being off-peak, only a few of the several restaurants were open, but the food was good, and reasonably priced for hotel food, although drinks were expensive - £3 for a can of coke. However, I ate out most nights, and experienced some of the excellent restaurants Marrakech has to offer - le Comptoir, le Riad Monceau, Dar Marjana, to name a few - with a £10 15-minute taxi ride taking you into the heart of the frenetic walled city. Worth seeing, but nice to retire out to the peaceful oasis of Le Palmeraie at the end of the evening!
The golf course is an excellent track, with plenty of testing holes for all abilities, water and sand often in play. Make use of the caddies and enjoy the well maintained fairways and greens. The spa is also an excellent facility. Very modern, good gym equipment, indoor pool and treatment room. They even do a good haircut!
In summary, I would definitely recommend Le Palmeraie to anyone visiting Marrakech.response / report this review -

Checkout takes approx 30 minutes. Study your bill carefully. You may be surprised with the number of items you were charged with which you never used, eaten, or ordered. Mine was 24% higher.
