Nice hotel in a good location for the old town, as well and some good craft shops nearby. There are also some great and affordable eats nearby. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Room was large, spacious and clean.

Hotel staff were rude & abrasive from check in to check out. Shortage of towel & when we requested an extra towel it was followed by 20 questions and a game of tug & war!
On one occasion we had 3 friends who had their own apartment were passing through - after they left within 10 minutes - to our shock the hotel staff ACCUSED us of letting them sleep the night - I politely explained they were mistaken and they rudely insisted followed by a threat to cancel our stay! I demanded that they check their cctv & apologise an they did neither!
First & last time at the hotel and will definitely be telling family & friends to choose from the many hotels in Guilez - ALMAS does not know how to treat guests/travellers!
On that note anyone visiting Morocco for first time - I would highly recommend the country - getting lost in the souks & experiencing the vibrant culture & way of life is priceless - will definitely visit again BUT will stay at a different hotel!

Excellent location within 25 minutes walking distance of medina, etc. (or take No.1 bus for 4DH). Spotlessly clean and extremely generously sized bedrooms. Staff helpful and courteous, on the whole. Breakfast (continental style) lacks variety but is perfectly adequate. WiFi worked well for me in room. Ask for room facing rear on 3rd or 4th floor to avoid street noise. Pay no more than 100DH for taxi from/to airport (Dec.2015)

Amazing hotel , just in the earth of marrakesh very clean , all the staf of the hotel are 5 stars , they give you all the information you need any time any hour very very helpfull, for my first time in marrakesh i realy recomend this hotel.
The only smaall issue on my opinion its the breackfast food.
