  This hotel is awful -- the rooms are dusty, the Air conditioning doesn't work (not in July, not in December) -- and the reception staff is not very helpful. In fact the receptionists were unresponsive/ incompetent when we said the bathtub had hair in it - and dust everywhere in the room. Stay away from Novotel -- try Essaada or Hotel Andalus. This is 2 or 3 star hotel
  
  Cet hôtel est horrible - les chambres sont poussiéreuses, la climatisation ne marchait pas (pas en juillet, pas en décembre) - et le personnel de la réception n'est pas très serviable. En fait, les réceptionnistes ne répondaient pas / incompétent quand nous avons dit qu'il y avait des cheveux dans la baignoire - et de la poussière partout dans la chambre. Eloignez vous du Novotel - essayez Essaada ou Hotel Andalus.
  
  هذا الفندق مرعب - الغرف مغبرة، تكييف الهواء لا يعمل - وموظفي الاستقبال ليست مفيدة جدا. في الواقع كان موظفو الاستقبال لا يستجيبون / غير كفءين عندما قلنا أن حوض الاستحمام كان شعرا فيه - والغبار في كل مكان في الغرفة. تجنب نوفوتيل - جرب إسادا أو فندق أندالوس.
  
  Este hotel es horrible, las habitaciones son polvorientas, el aire acondicionado no funciona (no en julio, no en diciembre), y el personal de recepción no es muy servicial. De hecho, los recepcionistas no respondieron / incompetencia cuando dijimos que la bañera tenía pelo y polvo en todas partes de la habitación. Aléjese de Novotel - pruebe Essaada o Hotel Andalus.

  I was in July 2017 with my family money has been stolen from my daughters hand bag complain to manager didn’t get proper response plus manager was rude part from that everything was ok nice clean room swimming pool even breakfast garden. good location .my 3rd times .bit noise at night time I would recommend to anyone but plz keep your valuable with you all the time

  my experience here was fantastic. I was given everything I asked for efficiently, professionally and completely.
  
  a few downsides in terms of counter service in the day (understandable in view of high customer volume) and lack of extra amenities such as HDMI cables and bathroom slippers, but overall I would recommend 10/10
  
  Plus points:
  - hot water in the pool showers
  - very close to Medina (15 min walk)
  - safe and posh surroundings

  The hotel was good but not up to standards .. I have had such experiences with Novotel. It is a hit an miss in their hotel chains.. sometimes it is exceptional and at times it is way below expectations..for this hotel, most things in the shower and bath were not functioning properly or broken .. I was offer to change my room but I didn't. I would recommend the hotel to have a better maintanance up keep of the hotel..
  The staff are friendly and nice.
  I would recommend the breakfast.. And I would suggest an egg Tajin with cheese and tomato .. it is phenomenal.

  Good location, the rooms are clean and comfortable but we couldn't get the temperature regulated and slept with the balcony door open. The breakfast was very good.

  Not the best of service.
  Stayed here twice on two different occasions, booked six rooms at a time.
  Location is brilliant but the service is poor.
  The rooms always have issues with thing or another.

  Customer service was horrendous! My iPhone was stolen when I was out there by one of their associates. Everytime I went to the reception to complain or look into it they just waved me away and kept bouncing me around for 4 days!!! Not one person said we will investigate!! I knew who had my phone I just wanted that person's number, they kept telling me they don't have his number or talk to so and so, even though they were the ones who booked excursions for us through this guythey kept making excuses saying it's too late now, I don't have his number, come back at 7am etc.

  We didn't actually stay at the Novotel (we were at the Riad Melhoun in the Medina) but we ate here and used their swimming pool on a couple of occasions.
  
  The staff are brilliant, the food was AMAZING (have the cheeseburger, I couldn't order anything else after I had it the first time) and with free use of their pool, we can't thank them enough! They have food and drinks served to your sunbed at the pool too.

  Generally excellent - courteous efficient staff. Bar / restaurant quality good. Nice pool area. Good convenient location. Good room size / amenities.
  
  Room did look a little in need of refurbishment and the air conditioning was noisy and not very effective.
