Absolutely not what I was expecting. The toilet tank in the room is was in could not refill automatically. The toilet door in the room could not close. The rooftop area was not clean. The hot tub was full of water containing algae. The room did not smell clean. The people were friendly but that alone was not enough to make up for the overall quality of the rooms and amenities.

This was the WORST experience I have ever came across in my life far as hotel wise. Me
And my family decided to go to Jamaica for my
Birthday which was April 3rd. It was so last minute so we booked this hotel through Expedia. We arrived April 5th and was supposed to stay until April 10th. So upon arrival the ‘shuttle’ to the hotel was late and we waited a good 30 mins at the airport . Getting there it looked a little weird but we still went with it. Inside we realized we would be staying in someone’s home but at the top of the house. The room was very small, it wasn’t dirty or didn’t have a smell or anything so again, we said ok and went with it Because we paid for
It.. Now, the AC barely worked the WiFi was trash and let me tell you about the bathroom. The water pressure was so low it felt like we were showering from a water fountain. The water never got hot, the toilet barely flushed and it was jus horrible. We called them
To our room at least 2-3 times and they said “sometimes the city turns off the water”. Moving forward, The lady and her family was really nice but it was so unprofessional and to be honest it’s a scam. The hot tub was FILTHY and had dead bugs in it. Anywhere we went was 20 dollars jus one way even to go up the street. The first night when they picked us up from the bar they told us they needed to stop at the store. They had their whole family and we
Ended up waiting in the car for over an hour to where we fell asleep. Back at the hotel
we asked for clean sheets and never received them. We also realized we were getting bit. Not sure if it was bed bugs because we checked and didn’t see anything. Once we
Asked could we get our money back for the days we did not want to stay and they told us no, we knew we had to leave. So the next day April 6th we ended up going to the Hilton spa and resort and had a great time in Jamaica after we left that hell hole. I even called Expedia and asked them to remove this hotel from their site and they are ‘looking into it’. But anyways DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. But then again you do get what you pay for. If you don’t mind loud kids, people outside your room door yelling, smoking, drinking, giving hair cuts or hearing their washer and dryer in the middle of the night then go for it. Negative 10 stars.

Let's start with the ugly. The hotel is horribly outdated and the room was abysmal. The bed was rock-hard, the sheets had a hole in them, and the sink was a water drink dispenser rather than a regular spigot. The shower was barely trickling, so I went without a shower. In addition, the hotel and the surrounding areas were constantly noisy throughout the night and day. Don't go here looking for relaxation. You won't find it. I was charged twenty USD for the airport transportation, which, according to their website is "available to guests" (Sounds complimentary, right? Think again!) and then, when I asked for a simple meal, was served goat curry with more bones than meat (flavor was great, quality was not), and was charged an additional fifteen USD for that. It was a rip-off point blank. Spend your money on a nicer hotel. You'll find it more worth your while. I'm almost certain I was the only guest at the time, which made the tension between the hotel staff and owners even more apparent. It was awkward and not altogether welcoming. However, Lenroy, the shuttle driver, was exceedingly nice and showed me around town. He, and the view of the bay, may have been the shining gem in an otherwise dismal situation. I cannot recommend this hotel. I've paid 20 for a hostel room before and not expected much, but spending nearly 100, you expect the experience to be a lot different. It was unnecessarily stressful and not at all what a vacation should be.

It's quite far away from the seaside. If you have no luck with taxi drivers they will charge you 15$ US for getting at Casa de Fe from Doctor's Cave. Expensive!
The owners can drive you for free, but you have to ask for what can be free there.
The rooms are not very nice. But everything is very clean.
Food and drinks are expensive (5$US a Red Stripe! )
Employees are nice and helpful. And there is a huge terrace with a wonderful sight on MoBay.
Well as a conclusion, I can't recommand or not recommand this place. Mobay is expensive and Casa De Fe is not that expensive and everyone there is helpful and looking for you to have a nice stay (and post a nice review 😋) but not very comfy and well located

I booked a room at Villa Casa De Fe for NYE 2016 through Expedia. When I got there to check-in the person that attended to us told us he doesn't have the room we booked. He said that he is sold out and he's not sure why Expedia allowed our reservation to go through. I was understanding because I know these things happen. Additionally, he assured us that we would get a refund. However, after a few days of not receiving a refund, I called Expedia then Expedia called Villa Casa De Fe. The rep. for Villa Casa De Fe told Expedia that I was a no-show for the reservation. I intend on taking this further. It is not good business practice to be dishonest let alone cheat customers. I gave them one star because I had to select one. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This is a perfect place to get the real Jamaican feel (something you won't get at resorts). I'm glad I found this place. Clean, professional, safe, and affordable. It was a perfect place for my husband and I to end our vacation. The staff was very welcoming and extremely accommodating to all our needs. This place is up in the hills overlooking Montego Bay. Amazing views from the rooftop. They offer delicious homemade Jamaican food. There is always a driver available to take you where you need and desire. They were so helpful getting us around.

Thank you Lenroy and Phiona for such a beautiful experience while in Jamaica. You two are truly amazing people. You really made us feel like we were visiting family. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and can't wait to come back.
