I got to attend a music show (the band is family) at Sandals Royal Carribean. This hotel is just beautiful and all of the staff were super helpful and pleasant. The food we had at the dinner buffet was absolutely delicious! They had authentic Jamaican cuisine, I mainly had the curried goat and rice and peas with a festival, it was superb!

The Royal Caribbean Sandals is a fantastic resort to stay and play. The resort personnel are very helpful and will treat you right. They are very accommodating, and do their best to make you feel like family. Couples only resort is a great way for you and your mate to getaway and enjoy each other.

Nice grounds, crappy lower levels rooms. If you are staying here do not choose the lower levels of service. The lower level rooms are very outdated with nothing to offer. Inside the rooms, they feel like a creepy motel. Such a shame when right outside your door is a beautiful paradise. Rooms must be renovated to meet the expectations the guest arriving there will have.

We had the walkout room & it wasn't nothing spectacular, it was just a room that needed some updates. But the staff was so great & so much fun. I'd definitely go back.

Beautiful resort! Sandals never disappoints with the food, drinks and service. The beach is better at Montego Bay but the private island here is awesome! Great snorkeling out there! We'd love to go back here.

Beautiful, relaxing resort! My husband and I visited the week after Christmas, going in to the new years. We felt that the resort was quiet and well balanced with just the right amount of guests. The main pool area was always lively. There were other pools and beaches that offered more quiet moments. There was never a moment where we could not find a lounge chair. The resort was clean and well kept. The staff members were all so kind and helpful. We booked the Caribbean deluxe room, which served it's purpose just fine. We didn't not spend time in the room other than to sleep. Noise level can be pretty high at times, since this room type was right by the entrance to the resort. Didn't bother us too much at night, though. The food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommend the French restaurant. The resort is very conveniently located. The drive from the airport was less than 15 minutes and many US cities now offer direct flights to MoBay. I highly recommend this resort for those looking for an easy, beautiful, relaxing getaway!

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon spent at Sandals Royal Caribbean and we could not be happier with our experience. The employees were outstanding, the food was amazing and our hotel room was perfect! We got the butler service and highly recommend it. They made our trip perfect, from the rose petals on the bed, to reserving us a spot on the beach with a cooler filled with everything you could need, every day. Thank you Sandals, we will be back soon!

The over the water bungalows are one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever stayed at. You can see the ocean under your room, amazing plunge pool, the best butlers, great temperature all year long, great spa, great food and a nude beach! Super beautiful place. Amazing!

Fantastic service and food. Love all the activities available at this resort. Music around the pool area could be improved, its too slow paced during the day. Highly recommend taking your next vacation here.

Wonderful service, nice food, great view.
We spent 3 nights at this magical place.
The resort is all inclusive and contains the transfer to and from the airport.
There is a variety of rooms, depends on the view and the room type.
Our room included the butler service wich was very helpful6, he helped us with the check in and check out, reserved the restaurants and some attractions, brought us cocktails to the room and basically everything we wanted and needed.
The resort provide water activities such as diving, boats etc
The view is spactacular, i will let the pictures to tell you.

Went for a wedding. Had a blast. Wedding was on a small beach by the resort, it seemed really small but was the perfect size for our party of 24. The reception was at Sandals Island and SO much fun. This was perfect.

I am staying in a swim up Butler suite room 2116. My Butler Monique is the best but I have the biggest issue. My AC in my room does not work and I have complained about it since the day I got here on Sunday July 16. Their only answer was they could downgrade me to a regular room with an ocean view. A downgrade because of their issue? Have sent several maintanence people and can not get it fixed. We have asked other guest and went in their ice cold rooms as well. I spent a fortune for a piece of luxury I can't seem to get. Don't spend your hard earned money to come here.

My wife and I visited for our honeymoon. It was amazing. Sheldon and Andre were our butlers. They made everything a delight. They really took care of everything. Reservations, spa bookings, excursions and more. Much more. The resort grounds we're beautiful. The staff went out of there way to be welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and everything was delicious. Every meal was better then the last. What an amazing experience. I highly recommend.

This resort is actually located in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The staff are absolutely wonderful! They are helpful, attentive, and friendly. The resort is beautiful! Lots of sun and fun. There are many activities available at the resort, such as windsurfing, paddle boarding, catamaran rides, etc. You can even workout during available fitness sessions, play volleyball on the beach or just relax and enjoy. The evening activities are exciting and plentiful. You will experience a variety of music, dancing and shows. Enjoy!

Loved it there, the hospitality is Amazing! Not once did anyone working have an attitude. They always were helpful. The food was outstanding every time. No matter what you chose to eat, nothing felt like it was quickly thrown together or pre made microwaved. Our room was the Windsor beachfront honeymoon walk out club level room w/ tranquility tub. The only pictures posted are of our room with our view, since we had to do major researching due to sandals website having limited info/pictures. Worth the trip, everything including is the way to go!

I booked the Swim-up Crystal Lagoon Honeymoon One Bedroom Butler Suite. There was a continual communication gap where the workers would ask a question but not provide context to allow you to make an informed decision. For example, the beach at this resort is very minimal so if you plan to lounge on the beach you need to reserve a chair at sunrise or you will be stuck by the pool. Being a first time visitor to the resort, I didn't know this nor was it explained. So it wasn't until the fourth day there that we finally got the early morning reservation Throughout the course of the stay many requests went unfulfilled or had to be handled personally by us - which is not why I paid extra money for a butler. Some unfulfilled requests are: to unpack our luggage, bring white rum to the room, restock champagne, determine if ginger is avail on resort (so we could book a boat ride - I have motion sickness), provide additional wash cloths, inform us of where we can work out outside (since walking along the beach as we had planned was out of the question), how to get currency to pay local vendors, etc. Individually these complaints are minor, but when you have spent an extra 2K just for butler service - you quickly begin to feel as if you were conned out of your money.

Now on to the food. Since this is a five star American resort I naively expected five star food. The food at breakfast and lunch (at the Mariner Hut) were decent. However dinner every night varies from gross, to making me sick (I was sick two days), to not even worth trying. We went to bed hungry every night there. The food was mediocre at best but the service made it even worse. I'll avoid detailing each restaurants misgivings but I will explain a few of the continual issues we faced:
    - having to repeatedly ask for silverware and water, causing the food to chill while waiting on basic standards
    - Nasty attitudes by wait staff
    - Food presentation far exceeding the actual food taste
    - Food being available at the resort but not on the menu (like chicken wings for room service or onion rings for lunch)
    - Something in the food made me sick, on two separate days
    - Cats roaming around guests eating dinner despite three guests making it clear that they are allergic or terrified of animals

Lastly, I want to hit on the service again. I understand that the Jamaican culture is different than American culture and I was prepared to deal with those differences. But I don't like to pay people to treat me horribly. We had to constantly ask questions because information was not already given. When we asked questions we were met with instant disdain and borderline disgust for daring to ask a question. And even when we tried to spend money with a local vendor and at the Sandals stores (Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Montego Bay) we were met with ridicule, lack of effort/care to help, and followed while in both stores while other people were blatantly not followed around during their visit. I came to Jamaica to relax, relate, and release instead I left disappointed In this resort and Jamaica, famished, ready to return home. The resorts in Montego Bay need a culture change. People do not pay thousands of dollars to be treated badly, remain hungry, and fighting daily for basic things like sugarless drinks, silverware, and answers to questions that should have already been answered. As a possible future customer, I would urge others to choose this resort at their own risk and definitely not to pay extra for Butler.

We just returned yesterday from a wonderful vacation. The staff was so friendly. I was particularly impressed with a bartender named Courtney who remembered our names and favorite drinks after only a few hours of being at the resort and continued to do so until we left. The pools were lovely and the beaches relaxing. I read some other reviews before going and agree it's not the most walkable beach but if you're simply looking to relax, enjoy the food and drinks, and not feel pressured to engage in activities this is the place. I also read concerns about chairs being reserved but after 10am they are fair game. I sat in several "reserved" seats but they never showed and even if they had I could have moved to several open spots. We had an ocean view room that was an almost full ocean view (Kensington Honeymoon Suite). None like we've had before. We stayed an extra night because we couldn't stand to leave! Now we are back in snow and missing the warm weather. We had the option to visit the other two resorts in Jamaica but did not. I'm sure we will next time but this time was just so relaxing. If your goal is to have beautiful surroundings, friendly people, great food, and even better drinks - go to this resort. We had massages and pedicures which were amazing. We also did the photo shoot. Yes, it feels expensive, but we got some cool photos and a CD with rights to all of the photos. I can easily get photos from Walmart on the cheap. My one and only complaint was the gentlemen who rode up and down in kayaks each day trying to sell things. Don't make the mistake of waving - they think you want to get high. They also whistle and holler when you say no or try to ignore them. Otherwise we had no complaints.

My wife and I loved it. The staff there was outstanding. Chico their entertainment director, the Sandals dancers, and all of the entertainers were great. The food was very good and we got to try a lot of the Jamaican rum drinks. This was a resort for young couples and older couples. I hope I can return someday.

This place is absolutely a paradise that you can only dream about. My stay there was wonderful. My husband and I loved it so much that we are planning on spending our next anniversary there the end of this year. I posted several pictures from this Sandals Royal Caribbean property on Google. And received over 3,000 views. If you get a chance to go you will not be disappointed. Some rooms offer Butler service. We felt like royalty.

Traveled between Jan 6-11. Ride to the hotel was approximately 15 mins. At arrival we were welcomed and shown to our rooms. The grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and palm trees. The food at all restaurants was amazing, our favorite was the French. The staff was amazing and accommodating to all of our requests, extremely friendly an willing to go the extra mile. The beach is smaller than resorts in Dominican Republic/Cuba; however, you can always access the private island which is usually less crowded and in my opinion has the best views. The Private island also has a restaurant where you can grab lunch and a bar. Due windy weather we were unable to try any of the water sports available. The only downside was the wait time between the time you order your meals and the time is being served at the sit down restaurants for dinner. Overall, great experience.
