My boyfriend and I visited this resort during the Christmas holidays and it was great. Everyone was extremely helpful and rooms were always clean. The beach was swept up every morning and there was daily activities for everyone. The only downsize was that the night like was as lively as we were used to. OH AND THE FOOD OPTIONS WERE GREAT (Italian/buffet/Jamaican/teppanyaki/steak/Mediterranean). The only issue was that we had was that one night we had to wait an hour and a half for a table at a la Carte restaurant to never be seated.

So let me make somethings clear. The property is gorgeous and the rooms especially the one we stayed in was great.. in general the staff was pleasant however it took far too long to get served. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was the most pleasant and we were served wuicker than anywhere else in property. Big shout out to Michael Lee our server he was great.. There were a few occasions where we lost power and we didn't have AC for a couple of hours however that didn't affect our stay much.

I can’t vouch for the rooms (we did a day pass), but there were a number of red flags. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, pools are huge and nice, water is warm, and lots of things to do. Staff more interested in ‘hitting on girls’ than getting umbrellas for guests. No biggie.

Then bubbles in the kids pool (chemical issue or feces cleanup). Noxious smell by big slides.

HOWEVER, the staff is incredibly - and I’ve seen a lot - lazy. 25 minutes for a drink. After 15 minutes on line, over 2 hours for jerk chicken, after trying to force jerk pork on us (we don’t eat pork). But don’t worry mon - staff will just play dice games and smell ganja on the beach - great for kids.

The views were amazing and I loved the modern, contemporary design of the rooms and hotel itself. The rooms were clean but the shower leaked, the overhead shower head didn't work well and it was like physics trying to find the midway between the hot and cold water. The restaurants were good and I enjoyed the food. However, preparation could be quicker and if you can, avoid room service. When we made our first order, two hours later there was still no delivery. When we called back we were told the request had not been made, one hour after that we finally got our food. By this time we were ready to go so we didn't even eat it :(. Make sure to book your reservations for Zen early, by 12 on a weekday they were fully booked. We enjoyed our time at Jade, our server was amazing. The foam party for the kids was good and the slide and lazy pool were great for adults and teenagers, they also have a neat little playground for kids and a coconut tree climb and fun water sports for those who like a bit of adventure. As a local I too often felt like tourists were treated better than I was and often felt the need to 'twang' to get better service from some of the staff and though this was annoying, the others made up for this quite a bit. Overall, it was a good experience.

the place was great; I'm a big fan of modern and this place has that modem contemporary look. Very nice pools and restaurants and the kids clubhouse took awesome care of my daughter. Ask for Sashorn when you get there, she'll take great care of you along with her friends. Make sure to make your reservation at Zen Restaurant and go eat at Hunter's Steak House. I gotta knock the hot water situation though; the solar system doesn't last long. I would definitely recommend it and me and my family will be visiting again sometime this year.

Terrible terrible terrible. Never come here. The rooms are moldy and damp. Shower does not work. Leaking in the bathroom. Food, 1 hour to get your food. Room service, 45 min to an 1hr. TODAY no hot water the whole day with no explanation. This should be a 3 star hotel

I choose a five star hotel for our family vacation. The resort part could be five star and staff there are really nice and polite.but not the hotel part. Room cleaning is slow and I thought it could be a good thing but I  noticed not much is being done during the entire stay,  our room was always left with no bathroom mats , bathroom towels not changed. And also I found no hairdryer in our room. And the hairdryer they finally brought to us  didn't even work properly, and I could smell a burning smell immediately after its been turned on.
2017 Christmas Eve around 645pm there was completely no hot water when I was taking a shower.
And for the hotel stay I would rate a 2star only.
Too many things need be heeded for the hotel staff and management.

The staff are beyond friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurants are varied and cater to every palate. The beach is small but stunning. The pools are large and spread far apart. The rooms are adequate with stunning views. There are trips to book which ate costly but if selected wisely ate good to do. Ricks Cafe being very popular. I am unsure as to wandering independently outside the hotel but understand it can be unsafe more for females. All in all the All Inclusive choice to stay at the hotel is well worth it. I wouldn't hesitate in returning.

Beautiful resort and the food is amazing. We had several issues with air conditioner not working but they gave us a new room when they couldn't fix it. Bartenders and the servers are wonderful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff and concierge aren't as friendly.

I must say, it is a beautiful property. It looks exquisite and expensive. Classy even. The staff were all friendly and well spoken, very welcoming. Only issue was the basic room was too small. But overall this place is lovely. Wont be taking the basic on my next visit.

Amazing people work here. Enjoyed and had meaningful interactions. Food and entertainment is well above what you'll end up paying for. Will be back next year!!

The wait staff was extremely friendly! However, there are a lot of details that were overlooked. There are only 2 elevators for 6 floors and 4 wings of customers. That is not the only long wait time at this hotel. Room service takes 45 min. to an hour, and that's if you can even get a call thru. My room phone was broken, the front desk gave us a cell phone, however I attempted to order breakfast and I could not get thru to the operator. It has a beautiful beach and amazing staff but the overall experience was lacking.

Nice facility. Excellent entertainment, but the food is only so-so. The beach is clean and has nice sand although it is small, there are not enough chairs and the weather is often windy.

Went on a family holiday, all 10 of us. Check in was easy, drinks were strong this set the mood for the holiday. My Aunts were fortunate enough to be "Diamond" guests, do not be fooled, the rooms are the same it's just a better service. The rooms are nothing to special, but at the end of the day i'm not spending ages in there only to shower and sleep. The food and drink was plentiful. The staff were strong English speakers and very friendly. Only had one or two rather rude staff on the beach, but who cared? Not us we were on holiday. The beach was well kept, and the teens club was rather entertaining for them. There are many places to eat and all the meals were good, we never went hungry. If you wanted something done ASAP be prepared to wait, you're in Jamaica, it is all laid back. Enjoy the sun and another free drink. Drink until you can't drink no more then get carried to you room at 3am. Great place, Great Staff, Can see myself going back in the future.
