Went here with a 20 person wedding party for dinner, drinks and fun the night before the wedding. Such an awesome place. Love band, great bar, friendly staff and the 5 course meal we had was unreal. A fun part of dinner was that not only did we get to watch the chefs make our food for us, they taught us about the local firsts and veggies that they used. This is a farm to table restaurant and the farm tour was very cool - so much fun to see everything they grow on the farm that later ends up on the dinner plate. Would highly recommend this place for a fun night and it may be the way to go over the more touristy resorts in the area. One thing to note tho, the ride up the mountain is long but worth it.

I was here 2 years ago exactly and still dream of it almost daily. Paradise isn’t even a strong enough word. This place is someone’s home and they are lovely people who treat you like family. I promise you will never want to leave.

It was an adventure getting there, but the food and hospitality was amazing. Every course of our qour 5 course meal was better than the last. The food was so fresh and seasoned amazingly well. The fruit chicken was the best chicken I had in my life. Aliesha was an amazing chef who took the time and care too explain all of the ingredients. I highly recommend the Zimbali dining experience.

I have been to Jamaica many times. This was the best. The food, farm to table was the freshest and tastiest I have ever eaten. Leading me to change my diet. The owners and staff the most personable and caring without being intrusive. This was my first time in the mountains of Jamaica, very different and just what I needed. Pure relaxation. We will be back!

Not the cheapest dinner I had in Jamaica but definitely one of the tastiest! The farm tour was very interesting and it was very nice to see how they just use there own fruits and vegetables. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere up there is very relaxing.

What a delight! We attended a private dinner with David Avocado Wolfe as part of the Tmrw.Tday Culture Fest. We really weren't sure what to expect since this was arranged by the Festival but when we we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised!

The wood doors opening up to the restaurant are dramatic & fabulous and you step into an idyllic setting. A winding little path goes down to the main dining area, which feels like a luxurious private home.

Owners Mark & Alicia are warm & accommodating and the staff is top notch. We watched the dinner being prepared by our guest host as well as the chef and owners. Everything was delicious, local and fresh. We are looking forward to hosting private events there for our company!

Warning: the road up to the Retreat is a bit rough but well worth it!

Got married in Jamaica on 4/4/16 and went to Zimbali Retreats on 4/6/16 for dinner with some family and friends. What an experience! Started with a tour of the farm followed by a 5 course dinner. Dinner was prepared in front of our eyes and the attention to detail was as impeccable as the food. Both chefs were fantastic and very willing to listen and answer all of our questions. One of the most enjoyable meals of my life. Live music was outstanding added the perfect vibe to the whole experience. Cant wait to go back!

My wife and I went there last year for our anniversary. The family/staff that operates this place are amazing. The food was amazing, the scenery was exceptional, and everything was great. My wife and I will always remember this place as special. I have recommended this place to all my friends, family and co-workers. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Loved everything about this place. Off the beaten path and as authentic as you can get. The staff and owners were amazing - not to mention the food - and provided the best experience possible. Definitely coming back here again!
