The room are spacious, but the bathroom is not well maintained (leaks from sink pipe, etc). Breakfast is good but lack variety. Free wifi is available although the connection is subpar compares to similar hotels. The location are quite strategic but requires a car since nothing interest in walking radius, not to mention traffic is sometimes full during office close time. The pools are quite long and complete with gym which is a good one. Overall the place is good if you're into business trip but not too much for holidays.

The room was big and had a great view on Monas. The cleanliness of the carpet wasn't perfect but the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. The most annoying thing is that there's no way to charge any device if you wanna leave the room because you need the key for power. They should leave the plugs on at a higher end hotel like this. About the breakfast, they have freshly cooked waffles, eggs and Indian food that tastes great! The pool area is also pretty nice. All in all great value!

It was not really huge hotel, but enough for business n leisure.
I went there for wedding party before.
The food is nice and good services.
Therefore, the interior design of the hotel is not really minimalize or modern.
It's like not a very good combination of colour --just my opinion.

Still considered as a good hotel.

Staff are quite helpful.
Cleanliness is good.

A very good hotel room with affordable price in their class. The room is spacious, clean and neat. Have lot of choices and some good tasty breakfast. The thing is the bathroom doesnt have standing shower.

Really nice hotel. Rooms are amazing. Make sure to get a room with a view of the skyscrapers! The pool area is beautiful. Delicious breakfast, the Indian restaurant which is located in the hotel is really good too! Staff is very friendly.

This has spacious rooms, with wonderful view, perfect place for family vacation, pool & gym are best places, good location near central of jakarta's best sights. Would recommend this hotel for fams :)

Good hotel to stay. Staying at the executive king, spacious room and i love the bathtub. Carpet cleanliness can be improved tho. Staff is very helpfull.

The reception area in the center is unique. Staff is friendly, polite and honest. Delicious pizza but if you are in a hurry please do not order since it will take 30 minutes. When I checked out to another room, I left my passport and cash. When I visited the reception, I was told that they have my small bag and return it to me with all my cash and passport intact. Nothing mising. And yes, the room is clean and tidy. The only complaint I have is the traffic around the hotel, but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself but the city government of Jakarta. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for romantic trip, or business trip. You should pick this hotel. I highly recommended this place.
Location, exterior, interior, cleaness, service, and food. Nothing wrong with those things.
Price is okay for me, but i expected more cause i thought its already all in. In fact, i only got 1 person for breakfast.
Overall, it was amazing!

We booked merlynn suite and the Jacuzzi was dirty, the housekeeper loss the towel and ask us to pay for it. WiFi limited for only few devices. Door guy chit chatting while we were struggling getting the luggage off the cab. I asked before check in if they provide any honeymoon theme room at least the swan folded towel also said dont know, until need to transferred me 3 times to different departments seems like im requesting a red carpet haha. even warn us not to spoil the room with any decoration. Most stupid response ever. Receptionist also cant speak english well

A very good hotel in central Jakarta. Great value for money. Location is very closed to presidential palace and freedom monument. Rooms are very spacious and higher floor provide a panoramic view on the city.

Smoking smells will greet you whenever you enter the room even in a non-smoking floor. Wifi was unstable and took 30 min to fix it. You have to call front desk everyday to get a new wifi id and pw. No shower in the room. Bad location. Bad indian restaurant.

Merlynn Park Hotel, like any other 5-star hotel, is a luxury hotel based in Central Jakarta. I believe all staff speak English (heck, they started conversations with me in English and I replied in Indonesian) fluently, and they are very professionally trained.

And what about the wifi, you may ask? It's bad. 1 Mbps download speed. Good enough to stay in touch with your family and to send emails, not even half enough to binge watch Netflix shows.

Also, the rooms aren't very consistent with the notes. We had a two night booking with two bedrooms, and one had a couple of useful information leaflets and the other, well let's just say I had to go over to the other room just to read some stuff. The TV channel list isn't accurate, either.

We had free breakfasts for 2 times, and they included Indian cuisine since apparently, at the time I stayed there's this whole bus of Indian tourists, and you could say the management is trying to do everything it could do to impress these Indians. Heck, they even had a nightclub in the car park which included a 'Bollywood DJ'.

The most unique thing on my first impression with the hotel are the receptionist which are located on the center of the lobby.
Then comes the other unique things from the hotel such as big lift space, big bathroom with both shower and bath tub, big swimming pool.

It's a really nice establishment and quite convenient to downtown Jakarta as well. We GRAB everywhere from here and its not too expensive. Hotel staff were warm and they all know how to speak english, or at least did their best to.

Breakfast was so-so, but overall acceptable.

Grand City chinese restaurant food quality is good, but the service quality need to improve.

Overall maintenance of hotel can be made better. If it's done well, i think this property has potential to make it as my go-to hotel every time i visit Jakarta.

I don't think it deserves the five star status. The room was okay, but for a hotel that was built in 2010 (cmiiw) it looks and felt more like a not so well maintained much older hotel. My friend stayed in a room without towels (have to call house keeping and ask for it), smelly toilet, and leaking shower head.

5 stars rated, 4 stars quality. Towels and floor mat isn't available when checking in. Elevators are packed by event attendees (during my visit). Overall, this affordable hotel offers an average price with above average rating.

Lokasi strategis, dekat dengan pusat hiburannya Jakarta. Kamar nyaman dan luas, bantalnya ada dua nyaman banget kalau tidur dengan dua bantal. Toilet juga luas (tipe kamar executive twin), ada bathtube nya. Air shower mengalir dengan sangat deras, dan cepat sekli panasnya. Recomended buat keluarga yang sedang berlibur di kota Jakarta

Room was spacious, unfortunately the room not cleaned well. They takes around 20 minutes more to deliver your request don't think it was a 4 stars standard. I think it needs an improvement.

I'd only return if there was nothing else available nearby. Just only bearable. We moved to Holiday Inn and is much better for pretty much the same price. Evidently is a new hotel but feels old.

Carpets are visibly damaged, shower head didn't work, room/hotel design is poor and they seem to allow smoking indoors.

The room is fine but the booking service is pretty sucky. I request for smoking room and king size bed and order had went thru when i about to check in the counter staff tell me left with only twin bed and if I want king size bed I have upgrade with additional payment for my request .I was stun ..what kind of booking management they have ? Or they out to cheat more ?
