Terrible service and poorly maintained facilities and rooms. Waited 45 minutes for room dining service and the waiter forgot to take my order and i have to re-order the food again. Aircond is not cold and could hear loud music if facing the pub side. Not a good place to stay certainly..

Nice hotel for bussiness trip or holiday trip. It's clean and the place was quite. The staff was very friendly. We can ask them to clean up the room too, and then the taste of breakfast was great. Really like to get some breakfast there. You can swim too because theres a clean pool.
Overall i like to get back to grandkemang hotel

Grandkemang is probably my preferred choice of hotel when staying in Jakarta. They've got an extremely helpful and polite staff that is available 24/7.

Service:
Quite prompt. I had called for an ironing board and hairdryer (which wasn't by default available on the room btw) and it was delivered to my room in less that 5 minutes. Laundry services are good - same day laundry is offered at no extra charge (beyond the base price). Gym and pool are available (haven't used them so cannot comment).

Room:
They have options for smoking and non-smoking rooms, for which the hotel has different wings. One advantage of the smoking rooms is that most of them are pool facing.

Food:
Breakfast is available as a buffet from 6am-10am. Options are fairly constant over the days but there's a decent variety. Quality of room service food is pretty great, though.

Additionally, grandkemang offers spa sessions in the form of massage therapy where you can have a professional massage therapist come to your room for a 60-120 session. Super relaxing, definitely recommend!

Good place for a quick visit to Jakarta, suitable for foreigners. You can find many some international food choices, bars, cafes and even pubs (Hooters too!). The hotel itself is ok, usually used for meetings. But the normal hotel room is just ok, clean and silent. Perfect for rest after a thought day at work.

Great location. The room was quited old fashion and need some improvement in cleanliness. The breakfast was so good, and the best part of it is they serve pork bacon in non halal section.
For billiard lovers, pool table is available in the cafe near receptionist and it's free of charge, no time limit, if you order some drinks

Came here with my colleagues for meeting and lunch. Meeting room is quite nice and they provide snacks and coffee breaks. For lunch is superb. The buffet is well arranged. The meals are good. Love the smoke fish. They have various assorted desserts tray that are cute to look at.

We frequent this hotel a lot whenever we're in Jakarta partly because my parents used to live in the area. I've always enjoyed my stay here as the staffs are really nice and housekeeping/maintanance are great. The pool area is a nice place to hang out or laze around. The restaurant serves good breakfast and a la cart options as well - there's always a selection of local and English breakfast. Would suggest for gym facilities to be upgraded or serviced as treadmills are not in good shape.

A blend of hotel and art gallery. Its often held an art exhibition within its corridors creating artistic inspiration within the hotel. The meals are extraordinary and varied in kind. Unfortunately the traffic in its surrounding is always congested.

Luxury hotel rebuilt and rebranded, right in the heart of Kemang. Centrally located next to ATMs, grocery marts (Kem Chicks is across the street) and a variety of restaurants within walking distance.

Friendly staff members with a security check as you enter the lobby. Rooms were alright, we stayed in 430 and the AC did not work property. No AC unit in the room, just a vent and a control dial that did nothing to cool the room down.

Nice big, comfy bed and pillows.

Favorite aspect was the large, deep pool. Open from 6AM, the waters temperature is perfect, not too cold. Keep your eyes closed from the chlorine amount.

Breakfast is worth it here. Large buffet selection - gourmet breads for toast, dim sum, egg station, fruit and salad, donuts + cake, rice porridge, bacon + hash-browns, yogurt + muesli, juices, indonesian cuisine, cheeses and delicious jams right at your table. Breakfast time starts at 6AM and goes until 10 or 11, depending on the day of the week. You can take your breakfast plates outside and enjoy your meal by the pool.

Excellent full bar available. Gym is pretty decent. There is a lounge area by the pool that has a pool table you can play at. The central lobby area has a nice seating section where you can meet friends and enjoy cakes, baked goods and coffee/tea from their in-house bakery.

Free parking for guests, simply ask the concierge to give you a ticket before you head out.

the hotel staff is really helpful in providing recommendation for lunch and showing where the supermarket is located. the room is great and WiFi speed amazingly fast. however, in years to come, the need to upgrade will be needed.

I attended a meeting here. The dishes that were ordered for the attendee's meals were wonderful. The location was strategic. Kem Chicks was just across from the lobby exit. The atmosphere was nice.

Great medium size hotel located in the middle of Kemang in walking distance from Kemchicks Supermarket, Eastern Promise Anglo-Indian Resto Pub, Die Stube - Traditional German Resto Beerhaus, Murphy's Irish Pub and dozens if not hundreds of other bars and restaurants. The hotel features a really nice well sunlit swimmingpool, restaurant and wineshop. At weekends there is a Sunday Brunch with or without alcohol that I consider to be a real bargain. Quite often I chose to book my visiting overseas guest into this hotel and I can only recommend it.

I am currently staying here as my business associates and I have tried other hotels and were disappointed by the food, service and facilities.
This hotel (as a 4-star in a similar price bracket) has surpassed its peers in all areas. The food is good in general and served in a timely manner (and is still hot) the breakfast has a good range of food, the mixed omelette with chillies i have had each day, is world-class. I stay at many hotels across the world in the 4-5 star bracket and these omelettes rank with the best. The room A/C was not as cool as i would have wished, but the layout is good and kept clean. Laundry is prompt and all the staff in each area of the hotel are polite, happy and give good service.
I will ensure my company book me into this hotel every time I am in Jakarta for business, on the strength of the omelettes alone.

The facilities were okay. Found the washroom a little too old for a hotel of this class. I had problems in my drainage system of the shower place. However the worst thing that happened was when I was checking out. They had bills for items from the minibar even though I didn't consume any. The management was cooperative enough to sort it out asap but still was a hassle for someone visiting from outside Indonesia. Overall not a bad experience, but expected more.

Many food we can choose at here when we breakfast. Surely I feel like heaven cz so many food types here. Especially the ice cream. The room is awesome with the 5 star room feel trought it is 2 star hotel.

Stayed here for two nights. Breakfast varies from western to indonesian. Service was okay, they helped us to call a taxi and recommended nice place to eat around Kemang. Stayed in second floor and the live music was too loud at night.

Limited rooms with bathtub and with windows of pool view. Great comfy bed with English cable channels. Love the room service food especially their grilled salmon, Chicken and nasi Goreng kemang. Value for money. Huge portion!

We were checking in on March 26, 2016 with 2 rooms. We have young children with us. First impression was sucks. When we get in to the gate, the securities made my baggage felled from our car because of their clumpsiness. The second one is all the receptions seemed soooo busy that they didn't have time to make some greetings to the guest. And the epic fail from this hotel is that the swimming pool was closed from 3 PM until 10 AM the next day for private birthday party. The worst part is they didn't inform us about that when we booked by phone, also the receptionist didn't even inform us when we get there to checking in. It was a long weekend, so we had intention to brought our children to this hotel so they could swim. So how our children suppose to swim when they has closed the swimming pool? They bring us their Hotel Manager, and he offered us to swim at Arion Swiss-Belhotel by their arrangement. First he offered us to go there by taxi. We refused, so he provided a car. We have dealed. After we brought our children to the lobby, the receptionist said that they only will pay 5 person to swim at Arion Swiss-Belhotel. Meanwhile we have 6 children with us, so did they expect the children go to the other hotel alone? And why that Hotel Manager didn't inform us before? We thought this was a nonsense, so we refused to go to other hotel just to swim, and we decided to checking out from this stupid hotel. So we brought the children back to the room to pack our baggage. By the time we arrived in the room, the receptionist called us and informed us that they allowed us to use only the children pool area for only 1 hour (until 5 PM). We agreed. So we bought the children, again, to downstairs, and then to the swimming pool to swim. During their swimming, that idiot Hotel Manager kept watching us from the restaurant area like we and our children are some criminals. Very annoying. We used the pool only maybe 45 minutes. After that, we were checking out and move to Mercure Hotel Simatupang which has much much much better services. This is not about the money, it's about how this hotel treated the guest. We will never stay again at this hotel, ever! It even not worth the money.

Great hotel, but I am only familiar with their restaurant. Superb set menus are delicious, though pricey.
