I would have rated my stay a 9 because the location, rates, service, room, amenities, club facilities are all very good. Of importance for me is a well appointed bathroom that works. My bathroom had a leak that left parts of the floor wet and slippery. The shower curtain was about 18 inches too long and lay across the bottom of the bathtub when in use. The shower, though quite new, was quirky. There is a lever on the wall left behind from an older shower system. I mistakenly moved the lever thinking it directs water to the shower head. It took a while before I figured out a knob on the faucet should be used. Little things that marred an otherwise excellent stay!

This hotel located in a very strategic place. Just walking distance to shopping mall or street food place (Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Sarinah, Sabang Street Food and many more) and Monas (iconic and historical place).

The staffs are very professional and very friendly and will answer anything you ask with smile.

The facility is quite complete too. Gym, pool, restaurant, play area for children, and many more..

The only thing that needed to be improved is the room. Electricity outlet need to improve because its hard to find and its seems outdated. Another thing to improve is the cleanliness. I dont say this hotel is dirty. Its clean, but it can be improved. Maybe because its an old hotel.

For m, If only there is a 3.5 star available that would be perfect for now.

So, to summarize, i think this hotel is good especially the location, service, and facility but the room cleanliness needed to be improved. Its still a Very recommended hotel.

It is located right in the city centre and very close to major tourist attractions. I found my room to be comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice and staff was courteous. Electrical system and shower are old and need to be improved urgently.

Nice relaxing visit. I was very impressed by the Indonesian doorman who could speak Polish. Not very often do you see that. Staff was very friendly and always making sure we felt comfortable. Kids enjoyed the Christmas Holiday Decorations. And breakfast was on the spot. Will recommend and come back

Nice place on well laid out street, has large lounge area to relax, lounge has several shops, including one excellent bread shop. The bread shop has a large variety of bread and cakes, also has separate meat section where they sell sausages, prime breakfast cuts etc.

Must visit for foreigners looking for good breakfast stuff.

The hotel is in prime central location close enough to major shopping malls.

Clean hotel located in an accessible part of Jakarta close to a string of eatries, restaurants, cafes and clubs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was received with a drink and a bunch of flowers. Pianist in the lobby is a gem. Rooms are wide and spacious and facilities were OK.

In summary, it is a nice hotel. It also has large rooms for the guests. It has a huge lobby that has traditional sensation to it. This hotel also has a good Japanese restaurant although it is quite expensive for the average Joe.

Old fashioned hotel. Good location right next to 24 hours starbucks and burger king. The room is spacious though I find that the amenities provided not really complete. You have to ask for tooth brush and shampoo.

5 star service. Their trademark, service one, is very helpful. You could ask nearly everything, even for finding nice restaurants around the hotel. Lots of different cuisine to choose each day. Although I have to agree, their building is dated. My bathroom tile was expand so it's unattached to the wall. But overall, it was nice.

3 star hotel with 5 star staff. Really plesant and nice staff, only reason I didnt check out. Stayed here as it was one of our company's corporate agreement hotel and my regular hotel was packed. After the stay, I know why few of my colleagues (business travellers) stay here.

poorly furnished and designed hotel. beyond the hotel lobby, everything is old I almost checked out immediately when I stepped into my hotel room. here are the good and bad.

1) dirty and foul smelling carpet
2) large, odd and useless furnitures
3) cheap bed/mattress
4) super thin blanket
5) nice pillow
6) big 51' tv with lots of premium channel
7) reasonable wifi speed (i can do youtube streaming easily)
8) Good central location
9) disgusting stained toilet bowl
10) mouldy bathtub and bathroom sink.
11) cheap budget shampoo and bath dispenser
12) Indonesia version of Hainanese Chicken Rice
13) Nice bar and restaurants

The staff were nice enough to offer me an umbrella when it was raining but the umbrella was broken, smelly and oily.. incidentally my thumb was cut by one of the broken spikes while opening the umbrella.

All said, if you dont mind 3 star rooms, everything elss about this hotel will be great.

This hotel provided a secure mechanism from entrance until lobby. Clark Hatch available here for those who want to do sports. 24 hours of Blue Bird taxi services and close to Trans Jakarta terminal. Located between offices and stores. And has a lot of choices for authentic domestic culinary inside and around.

Not as great as what it used to be. You can see that the property in the room are some old stuff that has never been replaced. But the service, the gym, the pool, the restaurant are still great.

Sari Pan Pacific (SPP)- location, location, location
●Easy accessibility to popular tourist attractions such as Sarinah shopping mall, Thamrin City (Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Bundaran Hotel Indonesia, few renowned hotels), Tanah Abang (wholesale centre - clothing and accessories).
●SPP also surrounded by countless of 24hrs food choices from fast food (BurgerKing, KFC, McD, Starbucks) to local food such as Garuda Nasi Padang, street food & food court in the shopping mall!
●Taxis are readily available!
●Rooms are nice,comfortable and complete but I think they require refurbishment
●Swimming pool area is great!
●SPP has fitness centre (Clarke Hatch Gym) and health club too but I think they really have to upgrade the health club Maintenance is the key thing here!!!
●Restaurant- coffeehouse, good selection of food especially local fare Just nice for breakfast, you know you cant eat so much in early morning!
●Staff - hotel team always tried their best to fulfill guests requirement, even though language barrier is a quite challenging for them, bravo!
♡♡♡I was there on weekend, so I joined Jakarta Car Free Morning, just few steps away from SPP (every Sunday, main road along Thamrin Road was closed from 6-11am, in awareness of great health campaign).

Location-wise the hotel is great, right in the center of Jkt city. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room facilities are old. I particularly did not enjoy the food, less selection of menu for breakfast, food quality is just an 'okay' - I opted to go out and have to get meals instead of eating at the hotel resto
