Central location close to Grand Via metro. Friendly staff and cosy lobby. It has a rooftop terrace with excellent view. Room was cosy, however not sound proof. You can hear people talking loudly outside. The only problem was the toilet had a smell. Bed was comfy. Storage place for luggage.

while there is barely enough space to put your suitcases, this place has charm. The lobby is quaint the room is clean. Balcony is fantastic and a wonderful getaway for great views and peace and quiet. It's a perfect location and right next to Metro. So if need a westernized spacious hotel it's not for you but if you want a practical, comfortable room that is chic at a great price, go for it. Btw, the hall lights are sensored to go on/off automatically so don't be alarmed if you start walking down a dark hallway. ..they do pop on. Great visit.

Stayed in the Sky room, 9th floor next to the terrace. Spacious room, well kept and clean, huge bed and a shower with a floor to ceiling glass wall so you can look down at the prostitutes outside McDonalds as you shower. Don't worry, the glass around your privates is frosted so no one can see. Despite the prostitutes, the area is very central and busy and there is lots to do nearby. And if you happen to want a prostitute well then there you go, and throw in a Big Mac.

The room was smelly.
Noise of flushing water from other rooms.
No curtains to block the outdoor lights.
No good blankets, and no comfortable pillows.
We ordered one twin bed but the beds were separated so you fall between them.
Pros: the desk girl was very nice and informative. Nice terrace for the hotel and porch in the room.
The location is perfect!

Friendly staff and quite helpful. Good location for night life. not great early sleepers and winters as rooms could do with better insulation and heating. I guess its nice place to stay in summer.

Location is central, but you would walk right past it if you weren't looking for it. It's right next to McDonald's and you go through this one door go to the first floor for reception. Everyone was very friendly. We got the wifi hotspot for free which has been a god sent so we can find our way around the city. The elevator is small but so is everything else in Madrid. The room was small but still spacious, was clean, great view, bathroom is gorgeous. Our room is right next to the busy street but we don't hear any noise from the street. We occasionally hear other guest when the door slams behind them, but that's few and far between. Would highly recommend this hotel.

To find this place, head to the doorway between Tapa Tapa (restaurant) and McDonald. Go to the back and take the elevator to the 1st floor where the reception is located. The reception area is a cool spot with comfortable chairs, tables to work on and a coffee machine. The lady at the front desk was friendly when we were checking in.
On the 9th floor you have access to the terrace. Nice place to lounge and relax with a good view of the city.
Our room was located on the 3rd floor facing the busy square. Surprisingly you don't hear the crowd and the cars due to the nice sound proofing windows they've installed. The room was larger than we expected and it was very clean. A nice comfortable queen size bed (two twins pushed together) in the center of the room. They do have a tendency to slide away if you're sleeping in the center of the bed. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. There is a safety box in the room to store your valuables. Wish they provided a small fridge to store our water and an iron with an ironing board.
For location it's excellent! Right nearby is a subway station and bus stops. Also the Prado museum is about 10-15 mins walk. There are also loads of food options nearby since this area is popular with the locals with fast food and sit down dining.
As of October 2016, they are still doing restoration on the outside of the building. This is the only reason we rated this place 4 out of 5. Natural light/sunshine is not an option with workers peeking inside the room.response / report this review -

Some of the rooms are small and some of them are spacious. You'll get a good room based on your luck. The best is the view from terrace.
