It is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Some of the rooms are not very new but it is very clean and comfortable.
Staff is very friendly.
The best it is location in from of the Bernabéu stadium, close to public transport and taxis, some good restaurants at walking distance and it has some shopping around.response / report this review -

A hole.
A stinky, hole.
A grubby, smelly, hole.
An expensive, grubby, smelly, hole.
Your key won't work.
Wifi won't reach your room.
Swapping rooms and fabreeze don't help the smell.
Rude bar manager guy.
The one star should go entirely to the desk staff who are the only ones trying their best despite nothing to work with.response / report this review -

nice breakfast buffet $20 , personal is not very friendly , the bartender was very rude , the guys at the pool are friendly, the refrigerator doesn't work (I stay in 2 different rooms by the way) room service was fast and good , I got the chicken and the steak from the menu there were good, the pool had an amazing view

The beds are very good but, I missed a socket next to the beds :S The rooms had very good views, that is the most I liked. The bathroom is smaller than other rooms I near hotels, but for me was ok! :)

On approaching the hotel it looks like the windows have been boarded up (see pic)
Good staff and nice pool area on the 9th floor. Rooms tired and old with carpets showing signs of wear, paint pealing and in need of a refurb.
When mentioning the problems to staff they state that the property is in urgent need of refurbishment and this may take place in November or December of 2017.
Not near main areas of Madrid and only convenient for events at or near the Bernabeu. It does have a street nearby with restaurants and shops which is ok.response / report this review -

We got a free upgrade, great staff very helpful, hotel was clean and well presented and a 5 minute walk from the stadium.

Very good stay in spite of surroundings works. The pricing should be somewhat reduced - also comparing to other hotels.

Rooms are dated but still very clean and quite wide. Also on the time I stayed, there is a construction site infront.
